Hi everyone!I *knew* about this group because some of my GR friends participated in the N&S group read last year.
This year, one of these friends posted her intention to read W&D, and rather than observing from the sidelines, this time around, I asked to join in the fun.
Now I'm reading N&S as a monthly selection for a classics group but I decided to read the comments from your discussion and add my own impressions.
I like it here. :)
So glad you've joined us, Andrea. I love active discussions, and you always have something to say. :)

Hi Andrea!! I'm so pleased you've decided to join us - and even more pleased that you've decided you like it here! Welcome to the group. :) And thank you so much for taking the time to post your impressions of N&S, it's always lovely to have new opinions.
Hello! I'm a new member of the Elizabeth Gaskell group here at goodreads, and an OLD member at C19, LOL. I have been away from message/discussion boards for a few years, but trying to get back into the swing of things. Still in love with North and South ten years later!
Welcome, Louisa, to our group over here at Goodreads. You're proof that the attraction of N&S can endure for years!
Hello,I’ve started a campaign to encourage narrating of North and South by Richard Armitage and Daniela Denby-Ashe. Let’s relive the beautiful memories of the book and series together! Please sign the campaign and help us share our enthusiasm with Richard and Daniela. 😍💖
