Approving author accounts and the reverse is not handled by librarians, but by Goodreads Customer Care. You'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.
From another thread I seem to think that if Heather changed her surname to "Cawte Winskill" (via support) on her private account AND on her author account the system would call her by her correct full name and still match the book covers. I can't find that thread at the moment. Typical.
I think either you misunderstood my post, or I've misunderstood your reply ;)The trouble is that I no longer have the name Heather Cawte Winskill. I've paid to have my name changed to Heather Cawte, and most of the people I know now don't even know I used to be Cawte Winskill. Thank you for taking the time to reply, though, it was a kind thought.

Sorry, I didn't get that from your post.

My name is Heather Cawte. Anything I write in future will be printed under that name. However, my current author page lists the two books I wrote as Heather Cawte Winskill.
This is correct, but for some reason it has caused my own private Goodreads account to be changed from Heather Cawte to Heather Winskill. I haven't used that name for 25 years, and almost none of my Goodreads friends would recognise it. Is there a way to separate my author page from my membership page?
