okay so do we got any twihards here?? no hate! only positive comments! if you don't like the series then leave now! so now that the appropriate audience is listening ;) i wanted to see which booked you liked Edward in the most, personally i loved him in the first one because if you go from reading lets say eclipse to twilight you can totally tell how Edwards tone shifts after he returns from Italy. in the first one he is so playfully and relaxed around Bella and then once he returns he's more cautious about everything! and ye ah i mean people could like that side of him more because hes actually taking her life into consideration but i feel like their whole joyful fun-loving atmosphere is gone (just my opinion)and i feel like they never really return to that original state of love. but at the same time in the very first book it could also be the whole allusion of first love that blinds them from reality and then once Edward realizes whats at stake he takings things more seriously......so now i would like to see what you guys love most about their relationship? and add any other comments you just want to get out there are welcome :)

Thanks to Twilight it got me into the YA genre & really into films, which is the career I want to go in. I never really had a Harry Potter phase (don't judge) so I consider this my HP phase, though saying that I didn't see the first one at the cinema but I remember watching the trailer, which I had not realised at the time that it had been already been made into a film & I was freaking out at the cinema saying its Twilight! Twilight! I think I was reading eclipse at the time it came out and from then onwards I went to go see it at the cinema every year until the very end! Sorry I'm just rambling on now, anyway, I don't care how much hate it got it was part of my teenage years, and now THG is taking over my adult years. :)

same i never really got into HP so i guess twilight really was my first book obsession and i honestly dont think the movies did them any where near the justice that they deserved. stephenie meyer is trully a genius and one of my all time favorite authors!

Like Amber, Twilight also got me into reading the young adult genre. I actually didn't read very much before Twilight, and then I became hooked! I am still obsessed with them now, every time it plays on TV I automatically watch them.:) Thanks to Stephenie, I love reading.

I read the series in jan/feb this year and it was the first series i ever read and i had to read the hunger games in august for school and that got me into my obsession of books but twilight is still very close to my heart! My favorite one is new moon and im actually re-reading the series tomorrow :)

Before I ever read Twilight I wasn't really into books. I enjoyed reading, but I wasn't a fangirl ♡ Twilight did change me a lot! I think without it I never would have really fangirled over books! I dont see why tons of people hate it or make fun of it :)

Like some of you, Twilight was my first book obsession. i read all the books first watched all the movies and fell in love with the series. I respect Twilight and don't judge it.

TWILIGHT IS MY LIFE I SWEAR i have read and reread the series so much it's hard for me to keep up! People always hate on Twilight and I swear it's one of the most amazing books I have ever read. Bella isn't a coward like everyone goes on about, shes amazing and would risk her own life for her family and friends. She about dies in all the books trying to protect her family. People say Edward is horrible for falling in love with Bella and just leaving her like that, but they obviously have'nt read New Moon because if they did they would know what Edward does. I hate it when people hate on Twilight just because their friends do. Twilight is amazing and they just need to figure out if they like or dislike it themselves. And not just quickly agree with all the other Twulight haters out there.

THANK YOU!!! I agree so much! People are always talking about what a weak female lead she in (in comparison to Katniss or others) and I'm like? Ummnn? Have you READ the books? All she does constantly is try to sacrifice herself to protect the ones she loves and cares about? How is than not a strong person? I love this series! And like many, it was what really fired up my love of books, and reading! I was in high school when they started coming out, and within the first chapter I was hooked, and developed a love for reading!
Im not really sure WHY it catches so much hate, maybe because on the front it comes across as nothing but a love story? Or maybe the movies just gave it a bad name? Either way, no shame, I am a HUGE fan, and always will be!
Im not sure which book Edward is my favorite in, but my favorite book through out the series, would have to be Twilight and/or Eclipse. Twilight because its the beginning of everything, and seeing the relationship develop and grow...love it! (new Moon was Jacobs book) Eclipse was great because i feel Bella really had to finally face her triangle and the relationships she developed with both boys....

I love it 'cause it was one of the first YA books I read and it got me into it, so it holds a especial place in my heart <3

Twilight was THE book for me. It was the first book I read without being forced to read and ever since I became a fangirl. I know many people criticize the story and Bella, but honestly I think Bella is an awesome character. She is not the weak useless human everyone keeps saying she is. I see character development. She starts of as a teenage girl who is socially awkward and slowly discovers herself. When has bella not been brave. I think it takes a hell lot of courage to go meet your death to save someone you truly love. New Moon deals with a darker side of Bella. She goes through a very serious depression, and it's not because Edward left her, it's because in so many ways she found a place where she fit in without being awkward. Eclipse brings along a whole new Bella, she realizes what becoming a vampire means, she explores parts of her she didn't know existed. She is also no longer the girl who only listens to Edward, she actually does exactly what Edward fears, she goes to Jacob. I also think it's amazing how one character can unite the vampires and the wolves. She becomes more determined. Her whole stunt when Edward fights Victoria is also pretty incredible, not to mention she helps Edward. And Finally Breaking Dawn. Go ahead and tell me she isn't a badass. She is so human, but also so brave. She knows the risks of her pregnancy and still goes through the whole process. She understands she could die, but I think that love she feels for Renesmee is bravery. And finally the whole vulturi scenario, she stands up to Aro and the rest of them. Character development. Bella is not a frail human, she is so much more than that. She loves and the things she does out of love I think make her big.

As for in which book I loved Edward the most I would have to say New Moon. He puts what he thinks is best for her first (even though he is clearly wrong.) I am also a sucker for boys who give up their love for what's best for the other person, even though it breaks them. I'm a sucker for broken souls. I can relate a lot to the loss. I don't know, New Moon for me was just the book where I was convinced Edward was the one. He had me at this point:

Twilight is amazing.The first time I read it itself,I loved it.The best and most charming character in this series is Edward.Sometimes I like Jacob.It depends an the mood whether I like Jacob or not.Mostly,I pity him.sorry,got carried away.coming back to Edward.He really fascinates me.I'm telling you that Bella isnt worth him.Not even a bit.And i seriously don't understand what Edward sees in her.He deserves someone a lot better.

I really love Edward and I will always be there to chat about Edward or Twilight.I loved the whole series.But some parts did disappoint me like in Breaking Dawn where I thought the Volturi would be destroyed and there will be a war.But nothing like that happened,which really disappointed me. okay. whatever.Only amazing stuff about Twilight.No snide comments about it.
