Inexplicably, the J. D. Robb group disappeared sometime between last night and early this am. Sandra and I haven't a clue as to how this happened and I've reported the situation to Goodreads. We're waiting for a response but given this is a U.S. holiday weekend...
Stay tuned.

Does this happen to anyone else? Between Saturday and today the 2 libraries I visit suddenly had 6 books I requested available and an Ebook that I had on hold that has books 1-4 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. 10 books in 2 days! One of the books, I requested so long ago I forgot about it, 2 others, I only put the holds on them Friday night and Devoted in Death had 11 people in front of me; just coincidence they all happened to become available at the same time. Guess I'll be doing some serious reading!
And the bad part is that with the exception of the book I forgot about, I want to start them all at once!!!

Just happened to me and fortunately they were mostly audiobooks.
If you'll go look at the book pages now, you'll notice that there are a lot more copies of the books than when you originally requested them, which is why they're suddenly available.

I've had that happen too. One week nothing I want to read is available and a week later, they all are. Makes it tough sometimes.
Good Afternoon Ladies! If I remember correctly some of you are from down south; just wondering if any of you are dealing with the snow storm and if you are how you're making out. We are really lucking out here in central and northern New England, it's not going to be to bad; where I am in central Ct we are only expecting 4-8 inches.
I live in North Carolina (Greensboro) and we ended up with about 4" of snow sealed in ice. Still some flurries today but this is about it.
The Mid-Atlantic (Virginia, Maryland, DC) are getting hammered. I have a lot of family there and they already have exceeded a foot of snow and it's still coming down.

Here in the DC area, we've been hit pretty good, but it's nowhere near as chaotic as we've had in the past. The city seemed to listen to the forecasters and shut things down early so people could get off the roads yesterday.
Blizzard conditions still, but should calm down tonight.

If anyone here has a copy of "Boundary Lines" please let me know. I have an older copy and am pretty sure I spotted a typo. I'm just trying to find out if anyone else saw it or if I'm just miss reading the passage.
Have you ever finished a really good book and then not wanted to pick up another because nothing can be as good as that book? Thats were I am right now. Stuck wanting to read and not thinking anything will be good enough. HELP!!! Please!! I have no idea what to read!!!
I see you've read the first two books of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. The third book, Lover Awakened, is absolutely amazing.
Finally! Julie Garwood just announced the new release date for Wired, Buchanan-Renard #13. It's July 4, 2017.
After spending yesterday at the Happiest Place on Earth with four grand kids, I'm spending this weekend on my own with my books and nothing else.
Amazon is raising the monthly rate for Prime by 18%, from $10.99 to $12.99. Now that I’m convinced it’s worth my money, I switched to an annual charge of $99 (works out to $8.25/month), saving almost $50/year.
If you plan to stick with Amazon Prime and are using the monthly plan, now may be the time to reconsider that payment option.

Did you know this is Romance Week on Goodreads? I clicked on the temporary banner (upper left corner) and it took me to the blog.

I just saw this on another group I frequent. I realize most here like the MP3 versions of audio but for those who don't mind CD's or MP3 CD's, this might interest you. They are closing July 31st and all CD's are $4 w/free shipping.https://www.audiobookstand.com/
And they do have a Nora selection at 4.00 per CD

I'm not sure where to ask this question but for the 2019 1000,000 Pages Read challenge, what if we started a book in 2018 but finish it in 2019? In my case I literally just finished it haha
Here’s fine, Erin. If it has a “read” date of 2019, it counts.
I’ve added more explanation in the challenge instructions. If you have additional questions, post them in that thread as others may benefit.

Okay, not sure this is the right place for this, it after hours scouting through GR reviews I am at my limit of tolerance. I am going to be off grid for 2 weeks next month, so I am trying to download several books to listen to, as I have been binging on my old Nora books recently, I need something new to me. I over The Obsession and The Witness, so maybe a recommendation or two along those lines? I plan to listen to them, so keep in mind whether you hated or loved the narrator please.

Have you read Shelter in Place? I loved that one. I also liked:
Come Sundown
Divine Evil
Three Fates
Public Secrets

I also really liked Blue Smoke and Chasing Fire. I also really loved the Bride Quartet even though it's pretty straight romance without the mystery or thriller part.

Jonetta wrote: "Yay! Hope you enjoy, Dawn."Wow! How did I miss this release? I guess I have been too obsessed with The First Year books. I loved Shelter in Place and have found a new favorite narrator.
Dawn, LaVoy is in my top five lists of narrators. I discovered her when I listened to Nora’s The Liar.
Did you binge listen this book?😏

Yes, yes I did binge listen to it. I should have waited to get it until I was closer to the time. I also binge listened to Divine Evil...boy did that ending throw me off. I a, surprised she hasn’t written a follow up to it. Speaking of listening to NR...Audible is having a $5 member sale. Sundown and Year One are included. So there is anyone out there who read them and want the audio...now is the perfect time.
I just tried to go to Fictfact to update some book lists and they closed it down! OMG...what am I going to do? How am I ever going to keep up with all of my series? Yes, I do know I am acting a bit dramatic...but OMG!
Yes, they shut down a couple of months ago.
Dawn, I started the 2-3-4 Challenge group a few years ago to manage my series. Let me know if you’re interested.

Julie Garwood has a new book to be published in 2022"Grace Under Fire"
Grace Isabel MacKenna had a hundred things to do today. Killing someone wasn’t one of them. It was supposed to be a quick visit to Boston for the Buchanan anniversary party, then on to Scotland to collect an inheritance. She checks into the hotel and then decides to go for a brisk walk. But after getting lost she ends up with a wounded man stumbling into her arms, and then his shooter coming after them both. When she fires back in self-defense, she doesn’t expect him to drop dead. Thanks to the Buchanans dispatching Navy SEAL and now a lawyer Michael Buchanan to help her deal with the police, Isabel endures hours of interrogation and is finally free to go.
Isabel knows she should be grateful for Michael’s help, but since she’s harbored an extreme dislike for him for years, gratitude is difficult to muster. Michael has appointed himself her de facto guardian, and she’s stuck with him despite their constant bickering and sizzling attraction. Even when Isabel goes to Scotland to claim her inheritance, Michael follows her, but he isn’t the only thing she can’t shake. Mysterious threats against Isabel surface, and before they can deal with their growing feelings for each other, Michael and Isabel must first survive.

Mine too! I was surprised, and very happy, that she was still writing. This is another series I wouldn't mind rereading.
Robin, you’d love it! I began it, reading out of order, when I first joined Shelfari. I figured it out and started from the beginning.
