"What ever are you doing in Wonderland Lacy?" The mouse asked.

" I er feel" lacy said with a shaky smile on her face. She kept it on her face to be polite
"She came the same way Alice did," Alphie explained. Both the hatter and mouse gasped. The mouse was the first to speak again, "Alphie it's your job to make sure things from other worlds don't come here. What if she can't get home, what if the queen finds out she's here?"
Lacy just hugged her knees, trying to keep out of it all. " I'm sorry" she said In a whisper, only Alfie could here her
He heard Lacy but didn't respond directly to her, "Just so you know this wasn't her fault," Alfie said. "It's no ones fault, but I'm certain this girl is scared and confused, have you explained anything to her?" Asked the door mouse.
Lacy looked up at Alfie. He hadn't well not very much. She bit her lip, she didn't want to say anything because she didn't want Alfie to get into trouble so she kept quiet
"I haven't told her anything. I thought I might ask you two first." He look at them both, the hatter and mouse with an expression that was seeking approval.
"So..." Lacy said more confidently " what haven't you told me yet?" She said looking around at everyone. She just hoped it wasn't bad
"Wonderland is a strange place, nobody truly knows everything about it," said the mouse. "All you need to know is that every thing has change since Alice came. I'm assuming you know the story of Alice in wonderland..."
Lacy had a frown on her face " yes I do know the story of alice in wonderland" she replayed she looked at the miss then the ground. Wonderland isn't what it use to be anymore that was a good thing and a bad thing
"Well then you will know about the fun and beauty that used to be Wonderland. But after Alice went home the Queen went crazy. She started to in force laws, execute the innocent and in prison everyone who she thought had anything to do with Alice. The people of our land rose against her power and ... Came of second best. The war that took place has never truly ended, it caused pain for every living soul in Wonderland." Explained the Hatter, he never looked up as he spoke.
Lacy hugged her knees and closed her eyes. She took a deep breath " so what your trying to say is I'll be either killed or be stuck in wonderland with the slim chance I have of escaping" she said her eyes still closed trying to face the truth of it all
"What we're saying is, if you want to live you are going to have to trust us to get you home." Alfie said.
She nodded. Lacy barely even new these people and one of them was going to cut her head of! But she new she trusted Alfie and if Alfie trusted them then she would too. After a while lacy said " ...so... How am I going to get home?"
(( should it be night so they all get to bed and explain it later in the morning?? And lacy has a bad dream and wanders around inside the tree then Alfie finds her and brings her back to his bed because she tells him she had a bad dream??))

((Sure! And I was thinking maybe Alfie is the cat or hare))"This is a lot to take in, how about you go to bed and we will talk about this in the morning." Everyone said good night to each other and the door mouse showed Lacy to a small room near Alfie's.

Lacy lay in her bed. It was hard to get to sleep knowing what a he did now. When she finally gotta sleep she had a nightmare, her nightmare was about her. She was I wonderland still and she couldn't escape and then the queen came for her; she ran, she ran for her life but the queen caught up to her. The queen lifted up her axe and swung for her head.
Lacy woke up, she sat up straight away and painted for air. She blinked hard and held the sides if her blanket in the fist if her hands. She felt stiff and new she wouldn't be able to get back to sleep, so she swing her legs over the side of the bed and walked over to the door. She opened it slowly; letting out a creek, she walked out and closed the door behind her. She thought she would look around inside the tree she started to walk slowly. She remembered that Alfie's room was close by; she could see the door coming up as she walked. Lacy tries to be extra quite but with every step came a loud creek

After the day that had just occurred Alfie didn't feel like sleeping, he went to his room for a little while but soon decided to go for a walk. He was heading back to his room when he heard creeping footsteps. As he turned the corner he was surprised to see Lacy.

Lacy jumped out of fright " oh! You scared me!" She said in a hush voice, her hand over her mouth. She wondered what Alfie was doing up so late wandering around, maybe that's what was on his mind right now; why I was, that is. " why are you up so late?" She decided to ask quietly

"Honestly I can't sleep. It's been years since I've been here and I wanted to look around by myself." His voice was soft and melted into the warm air like honey.
