Delete Editions

There are 5 editions...

These other 2 don't go to anything and the author asked if I could find a way to delete them for her.

(this is the correct ISBN number but it isn't linking to the amazon page so she is using the first link above with the ASIN number.)

(she doesn't know what the number for this one is for)

The first one you want removing has links to Smashwords.

The second one used to link to Smashwords, was published 17 Nov 2013, and has been removed but it also looks valid.

I'ved removed the selling links from two books but they all look OK to me.

They each have their own ISBN or ASIN or BNID so we can assume that are all genuine editions in their own right. They are correctly combined so nothing needs doing unless new info comes to light. If such info does appear then post it here and we can help you sort it out.

My question is, can the unpublished version on Smashwords be deleted? I only have one published version on their wesbite at hte moment.

But the book was never technically in print, since it was a pre-order. The book doesn't even release until tomorrow, technically.

The deleted page refers to publication on 17 Nov 2013 so we have to assume that it was available from that date.

EDIT: the purchase link on the deleted page still works.

Well it doesn't show in my Smashwords dash board. Well, I guess it will stay. I can't combine the Smashwords editions?

One edition per ISBN, unless there's a new cover. (Then two.)

Got back in contact with the author and she said that only one of them is active. That the other one was deactivated....This one...

Again, that means the book is out of print. Goodreads does not delete out-of-print books.
