Yes, they are stand alone. The first book was awesome too!
I haven't read that series.

Well, i thought Sarai deserved it,lol!

I know Esra I wanted to kill Sarai than, she drove me crazy, and yeah I didn't like how they cheated on her I don't like infidelity.
@Gabriela
Yep. I agree. Extremely authentic. She is a really great writer. I'm still not the biggest Sarai fan, but you already know, I'm a huge heroine hater. It's probably my jealousy! Lol
Thank you all for joining and reading with me. I love you ladies!

It's one of those love to hate series, some parts were frustrating and made me want to throw my book in the fire but I had to know what happens next.

She def. deserved a breakup but the guy didn't knew she was thinking of someone else so, he shouldn't have cheated. Anyway i am more angry at her so-called friend.

I get it, but i was more angry at Sarai. She was acting like a spoiled brat and she not only played with his feelings but (view spoiler)

lol. Exactly. I felt the same.(view spoiler)

Oh shit! I'm sorry!! I thought you got to that part. It was pretty closed to them cheating on her!

YAY !

This whole situation was bizarre. He seemed like a nice guy... so why cheat?? her friend... well, I guess she wasn't a friend after all. As for Sarai, why even bother being with the guy? I didn't care for that part of the story at all.

YES AND IT'S GOING TO BE FREDRICK'S YAYYYYYYYYYYYY"
YES!!!!

Yeah, it definitely didn't add anything as far as I'm concerned. And I really don't remember Sarai so whiney from the first book, she acts completely different. So sure of herself even when she is doing something completely stupid. I'm hoping Victor will make up for her for me.

Most of us here were most excited about Fredrik. And he's getting his own book! But I'm not sure if you're into dark men. Both Victor and Sarai acted different than in the first book. At least in my opinion ;)

I agree with you. Sarai was at the beginning a spoiled brat and then turned into a psycho, enjoying how Fredrik tortured. Victor turned soft in this book, until the end. But i guess he was fighting with feelings and he was taught not have any.

Then I hope you'll enjoy Fredrik, Lol! We all had problem with Sarai here but even though she was annoying she didn't ruin the book ;)

yup, he went soft and then he grew a pair and went a little bit too extreme :p But I still liked him through out the whole book. Can't say the same thing about Sarai...

LOL! He is softer with her on this book!! He should have kicked her ass a few times!!
@Cyndi
lol! Yeah, the first book had me a little sexually frustrated, but I still loved it. This second book had a completely different feel and I think she did an excellent job with both books.

NOW I'm frustrated with her - severely ! How can she even contemplate what she's thinking ( 1. leaving and 2.Going back to MX??) And wow, Victor - is she being ungrateful? stupid? both?

This is very off subject, but are you planning on reading the 2nd book of Tears for Tess? I know you weren't crazy about the first,but I think we are going to set up a BR for later in the week. Wanna join?

Your welcome. I'm so glad you liked.

Definitely a 4+ star read.
Love the ending - " ...I feel perfectly safe in the company of killers."
@Ashlee
Again, thank you!!
@Gabriela
If my mind could have anticipated that...
It was a REALLY great twist and it really lent to the tone of the story line. It made sense but was totally f*&^* up - but it had to be , which was awesome. It really did have to happen
- I was worried about the torture that might occur -
