As soon as Linnet had demanded a squashy armchair to sit in, her first order to Ollivander was to fetch her the "prettiest-looking wand" he could find. At first, none of the wands seemed to want anything to do with the little brat, all refusing to cleave to her will. They all threw magical tantrums, effectively trashing the store with spontaneous explosions. However, when little Linnet held a handsome red oak wand in her plump hand, she knew that it was to one. Smugly giving it a casual flick, she caused a jet of scarlet flame to spew out of the tip. The wand is surprisingly like Linnet in appearance. Curvy and lacquered, the baton-like instrument is tastefully tailored, like the sharply ironed creases of a high-end suit. The wand is separated into three briolette-shaped sections by three small, elegantly-cut, cabochon-shaped gemstones. They are each coloured a brilliant blood-red, and each cut with thousands of tiny, glittering facets. The three angular sections are
