According to Stephen King, in his book, "On Writing," "The most interesting situations can usually be expressed as a What-if question:

What if vampires invaded a small New England village? (Salem's Lot).

What if a young mother and her son became trapped in their stalled car by a rabid dog? (Cujo)."

It should be fun for members to share their own "What If" scenarios. Let's see how creative you can be. Who knows? We may discover the next Stephen King.

What if the Earth's flora were intelligent (they probably are) and declared war on humans as revenge for the mistreatment that has been heaped upon them?

Geoff Woodland | 3 comments Try 'The Day of the Triffids' - John Wyndham 1951

The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham

similar idea but the plants are from outer space.
