Think about what the main character learns and the changes he or she undergoes in the story. Usually, this is pointing us to theme. What message is present in the story that can also apply outside the story? Try to relate it to your own life.

Casey Schneider (caseyss28) | 2 comments in this book, it relates to my life on a little bit. It relates to me because i went to Mexico over the summer, and the kids were all looking rough, they all were begging my family for money. I felt very bad for them, i wish i could just get them out of there. They were trying to sell us fake chains, or chiklets. Or they just begged for money.

Samantha | 1 comments This girl has issues with her mother and they fight or she wants to fight with her mother and can't stand her company

message 4: by Carter (new)

Carter Newton | 1 comments Mickey Mantle, the book i read relates to me with the biggest charactoristic i have, My will and my drive and the fact that i never give up even in the tightest oof situatins. In this story he gets and injury every year of his MLB career, but the thing about him is he has the will and the drive to keep going and never give up and thats what give him the strength to win the rookie of the year award and the MVP award. i think everyone who enjoys sports should read this book, because it is one of the best sports books ive ever read.

message 5: by Parker (new)

Parker Thomas | 1 comments The book A Day No Pigs Die related to me because i also have a strange relation ship with my dad we think completely different but we always find somthing to talk about.

message 6: by Justin (new)

Justin Fite | 1 comments Bottled up dosen't relate to me at all because people in this book do bad things and I don't do bad things. That is why this book is not related to me.

message 7: by Michael (new)

Michael | 1 comments this book relates to me because i was a new person to a school and i hated every1 they made fun of me because they didnt no me but once they got to know me it was cool

message 8: by Rhea (new)

Rhea Meadows | 1 comments The Payton Skky series relate to me the most. Basically the book is about a girl in high school trying to do the right thing but also trying to keep her friends on the right track. It remains me of my life because high school is the place where you so called "finding yourself" but also try to pick in choose the right & the right crowd and also staying out of trouble. it's kind of hard to do that because you want to be liked by everyone else but also dont want to do the wrong thing. i recommed teens to read these whole series of payton skky it might to relate to what your going threw now :)

message 9: by Natalie (new)

Natalie | 1 comments In my book is relates to me by its about a group of friends that share a pair of pants and the group of friends are really close. I can relate by I have a friend that we are very close. And we share each others clothes. That is the first thing that came into my head

Brandon Smith | 1 comments This relates to my life because you need to stay away from drugs and alcohol. You need to make smart decisions in life.

message 12: by Lauren (new)

Lauren | 1 comments It relates to our lives a lot. When people date other people, they always run into issues in relationships. Then it is good for people who like someone, but they don't know that they do. Then once they find out, they are shocked.

message 13: by Scott (new)

Scott Petracchi | 1 comments Brian's Hunt doesn't really relate to my life. It is about hunting and I don't like hunting and I think it's wrong.

message 16: by Danny (new)

Danny Barman | 1 comments Inside out doesn't really relate to my life. It is about a boy with schizophrenia as a hostage in a robbery and i have never been in a situation like that.

message 17: by Seth (new)

Seth Nall | 1 comments My book, Assassins, relates to my life because the main characters in the book are Christians and want to others to turn to Christ. I am a Christian and want to lead others to Christ. If anyone is wants to know how, e-mail me.

message 18: by Kaitlyn (new)

Kaitlyn Marr | 1 comments "The Lost Boy," relates to my life in a very small way. The boy in the story goes through so much in his lifetime. He has many struggles he has a tough time overcoming and has to go through many obstacles to survive. I have had times in my life where I had to make certain decisions and might of had a tough time getting through a situation but I have never had them nearly as bad or tough as the little boy did in my book.

message 19: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 5 comments I think the book "bird" reminds me of my life somewhat. I have had times where i have wanted to run away. When i wanted to go back to my old home and talk to my older friends again. I have moved around a few times.

message 20: by Jenna (new)

Jenna P | 2 comments This book relates to my life because just like the girl in the book i have been lead on by a guy and i didn't like that he treated me like that. He didn't try to kill me but it hurt me.

message 21: by Jenna (new)

Jenna P | 2 comments It really doesn't relate to my life because i've never been on a blind date soo i don't know how to answer this question. I have been lead on by a guy but that doesn't count i guess.

message 22: by Cristina (new)

Cristina Villarreal | 4 comments I think that I look like standley I dont know why, I think because sometimes my family is not just too lucky enough.

message 23: by Cristina (new)

Cristina Villarreal | 4 comments I think the girl that says that kids in Mexico begs of money is true but its people who dont have money they are poor.

message 24: by Melanie (new)

Melanie Snyder | 5 comments In my book, Counting Stars, the author has a lot of crazy stories and has things that happen to him that are just weird. It relates to me or anyone because everyone has weird or crazy things that happen to them sometime in their lfe. I have had some weird things happen to me just like the character has.

message 25: by Jake (new)

Jake Reed | 8 comments The outsiders doesnt really haha.

message 26: by Megan (new)

Megan | 1 comments The book i read, i really in way could relate, because i dont really like confrontation, and i keep alot of secrets. So i could understand how the main character feels.

Tyler Ducsay | 3 comments well it doesnt really beacause ive never been in a war and im not indian

message 28: by Jake (new)

Jake Reed | 8 comments i think that "Motly Harmless" remided me of my life because arthur couldnt find a job on one of the alternate earths until he became a sandwich maker and i have just found a job too.

message 29: by Melanie (new)

Melanie Snyder | 5 comments In my book, Dancing in Red Shoes Will Kill You, it had a lot of problems like I do in my life. It talks about how some obsticales in life may stop you from what you love to do, but my character didn't let that stop her. That is the lesson; don't let anything stop you from doing what you love.

message 30: by Jake (new)

Jake Reed | 8 comments this book didnt really relate to me except for i like murder mystery books jst like Martyn
