Rachel (raeyo) Anyone have recommendations for fiction that includes architecture and time travel as some of the main themes? I have already read "Timeline" by Crichton. Thanks!

Brenda Clough (brendaclough) | 225 comments Mmm. Have you looked at the Tuesday Next books by Jasper Fforde? They are not exactly time travel and not really architectural. But certainly a huge number of characters from past and future roar on through, and the design of the Well of Lost Books is fascinating.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments In a sense, all Time Travel to the Past is architectural in nature for you'd be constructing a new history, either outright or by first altering then rebuilding from that point forward.

I have written a short story with Thomas Jefferson, a time traveling Epic Fable in which he discusses his building designs for the proposed University of Virginia, but I'm not aware of any novel length effort with such a theme.
