I had school off on Tuesday and Wednesday because of snow. So they had to push back our midterms to that Friday and this upcoming Monday.

I have 3 days off school this week because of Carnival (I don't celebrate it but it's always nice anyway xD)

Buut I'm going to have to spend it studying because I have an History test on Friday and it's going to be hard as hell, I can already feel it =/

What's Carnival like?!

Carnival is like a celebration where there are normally parades and people dress up and wear masks and party a lot. I used to like it more when I was a children and I used to dress up in various costumes and went to Algarve with my grandmother watch the parades there.
I think the most famous Carnival in the world is from Rio de Janeiro, you probably have heard of it. Here in Portugal our parades and things are very much inspired by that, unfortunately, even though our weather and our whole culture is really different, so most of our ancient Carnival traditions are almost lost =/

School keeps getting in my way of reading as many books as possible. Especially when you're starting a book series knowing that the midyear/final exams are pretty close and the next thing you know,you're in love with the series and you read 100 pages when you're supposed to be studying :/ happened to me a few months ago,but it was so worth it :P
