Okay so I read a book about a girl who leaves her family farm in canada to find her grandpa cuz her mom is all pregnant and sick and her grandpa is a doctor. She falls in love with a dude who is a few years older then her. i remeber there is a drunk guy who has a garden with veggies next to her grandpa and grandmas house.... on the cover there is a girl on a dock holding an instrument (violin, banjo, viola?) And the sky is dark and I think there is a bird... its a book for teens and older kids mostly prlly ages 11-16ish...
