she nodded and said goodbye to her packmate before turning back to Leo. "I don't agree with hus terms and I doubt your alpha will too, unless you are a great importance to you pack." she said

"My father's beta. Not that important. " he stated. "Although with the female unable to have a mate his betas would die out." he suggesred with a smile moving back to the door. "I'm thanking you ahead of time for taking care of LJ." He said with a smile.

"My cat." he stated. "I cant give him food and water here." Leo smiled. "Completely docile I promise.
"Ah, of course." she said smiling. "You are strange. " she stated
"What because I'm a wolf with a cat? If that's the weirdest thing you've seen it's obvious you don't know many like me." he chuckled. "I'll be in your debt, Lyall."

Leo smiled. "Different? I enjoy different." he nodded "Tell me how come you don't despise me as they do?" he asked curious.
she shrugged, "I guess you could call me the forgiving type. I don't see you as a true threat." she replied
"I'm a threat to those I choose to be a threat to." Leo said simply with a shrug.
Leo looked at her. "Besides..." he opened the door. "They forgot to lock the door." he stated with a chuckle. "Bumble heads." he stuck his hands in his pockets.
"yeah. well that just goes to show that I'm surrounded by idiots." she said closing the door again. She kinda liked him, she wanted to let him go but she might as well set the whole camp on fire
He shrugged with mock defeat. "Ah well. I tried. You have a good heart Lyall. I'm glad this rivalry hasn't destroyed everyone." he sat back not even trying to get out now. "They'll be suspicious if stay longer. Come back soon, Lyall. I'll appreciate the company." he said with a yawn.
she nodded and walked away, glancing over her shoulder one last time before leaving
Leo looked at the door with a smile. She was an interesting person for sure. Closing his eyes he let himself fall to sleep after placing a metal object on the door to alert him when someone opened it.

Lyall was in the camp, talking with another packmate, she had heard a rumor that the alpha planned to kill Leo once his alpha followed through with his terms. She didn't really know Leo, and he was from a different pack pack but she still didn't want him to die, he hasn't done any harm to them.

Leo looked up at the sound of metal clanging. These guys looked mighty pleased with themselves and that didn't bode well for him. Placing a smile on his face he eased himself up. "What can I do for you boys?"
Lyall saw two of her packmates enter the place they were holding Leo, she followed them in, knowing quite well why they were there.
"You'll know soon enough." the wolf replied to Leo, he smiled over at the other wolf. Lyall walked up to them "let me handle this." she told them. "Alpha sent us here to kill him. we aren't just going to walk away." the wolf growled. "He attacked me. I should the one to kill him." Lyall argued. The wolfs grunted and walked away.
Lyall unlocked the door, "come on." she said walking out

Leo looked at her a knowing smile on his face. "I must warn you if you plan on doing this will come back on you too." he stated in a whisper. Leo followed her though even as he warned her.
"then I'll cross that bridge when I get there." she whispered back. Once they got deep into the forest with no one else around she faced him "Now go, before I change my mind." she said
Leo leaned forward kissing her cheek before waving with a cheeky smile. "See ya later Lyall. If you need a friend you know where I am." he ran off after that. Once he was in neutral territory he took a breath. As far as anyone knew he was dead for now.
Lyall couldn't help but smile when he kissed her cheek. She liked him, and hoped that letting him live isn't going to come back and bite her later. For now, her pack believes he's dead and that's all the need to know.
Leo walked into his apartment rubbing his face and collapsing on his couch. LJ meowed jumping into his lap and bumping his free hand. He smiled. "LJ I'm dead. Did you know that?" he asked the cat who laid there purring under his loving.
Lyall sighed and walked back to camp. Some of her packmates asked her questions about it but she dismissed them quickly
Leo stood as there was a knock on the door. "I smell you in there Leo. Let me in or I'm going to the pack and letting it slip your alive." he heard the blonde bimbo say and he stiffened opening the door.
Lyall sat underneath a tree talking quietly with her friend Brook
"What do you want, Anna?" He asked an actual frown on his lips. Anna smiled. "I want you to stay away from her and let me play bereaved mate." Leo crossed his arms. "Then you get to pick a new beta. Not as dumb as I thought." he said fiddling with his lip ring.
"You didn't kill him? " Brook asked quietly, shocked. "How could I? he did no one harm, he didn't desirve to die." Lyall replied.
Leo moved forward pushing her against the wall. "You listen to me, Anna. I don't wish for Beta or even the pack so go for it, but you do anything to make them think Lyall didn't kill me and I will show you what the old coot saw to make him want me as a Enforcer." he whispered but the way she flinched he could have screamed it. Anna swallowed as he backed off his smile no longer reaching his eyes. "Now be a good female and go be bereaved like you wanted." he turned slightly. "Now go. You've worn your welcome." she left with a low growl. The threat drained out of him as he shut the door.
Lyall sighed. "if alpha finds out..." Brook started, "he wont. " Lyall said stubbornly. Though she really didn't know that. She just hoped that he wont find out, if he does, she could be kicked out, or worse.
Leo cursed. He had to warn her. It was the right thing to do since he got her into this mess. With a aogh he put on a jacket covered with LJs fur to disguise his scent and glasses for his eyes. Things were changing. He could feel it in the air and chances were he'd have some tough choices to make.
Lyall got up, "I'm going for a walk. " she told Brook before heading out of camp, she needed some time to think. Maybe letting Leo live wasn't the right thing to do. No. She knew it was right, he shouldn't have to die because he if from a different pack
"Lyall." Leo whispered from the shadows of a tree. He smiled making hinself smaller by hunching his shoulders. Since LJ liked his scent all over Leo's clothes that's who he smelled, like cat.
Lyall flinched when she heard someone say her name. she couldn't see anyone but the only thing she could smell was cat, which made her utterly confused
Quickly he grabbed her arm pulling her into the shadows as one of his pack mates passed. He covered her mouth before she could scream. sniffing to make sure they're gone he let her go and removed the glasses. "Lyall. It's just me. Listen. You remember how you told me the demands didn't add up?" he whispered smiling though his face showed him dead serious.
This time Lyall didn't fight him, as she heard her packmates walk by. She looked at him, both with confusion and concern. "Yeah. Why? " she asked
"The old coot knew I would try to fail and your alpha would look at it as kidnapping. He knew your alpha would set those terms and kill me anyways." he ran a hand through his hair. "I couldn't see the connection. Then everything started clicking. Packs all over are giving up rivalry and mingling. Killing me...it gives him perfect opportunity to call war. He wanted to have a reason to attack full on." he whispered.
she glanced behind her shoulder "why are you telling ME this? " she asked.
"So you can go tell your Alpha. Warn them so that innocents won't die." he stated. "I can at least try to lessen the old coots forces."
"I'll try." she replied. "But my alpha is in on this war as well, and he's stubborn."
He scratched his head and let out a sigh. "Then there's only two options. Go to the Elder Council or run away and be rogues." he smiled mischievously at the last suggestion. "Judging by your expression though I'd say you like the first suggestion."
she sighed, "I'll talk with them. But I would have to tell them that I let you go, and they will most likely throw me out."
"unless I escaped." he stated. "I won't let you be thrown out hun." he stated determined.
"Having me insist on killing you and you escaping isn't exactly going to slide." she stated "Besides, my alpha thinks that I did kill you so if I did tell him that you escaped means I lied and that isn't going to slide ether."
Leo looked at her trying to think of a way out of the situation. He cursed actually frowning for once. "I didn't mean for you to get stuck in this situation, Lyall. I swear."
"it's not your fault." she said "I made my choice. and even if I could I wouldn't take it back."
Just like that the frown disappeared followed by his usual goofy grin. "I'm glad you don't regret helping me. I need to go find some other revenue source so I don't have to deal with Anna. I'll see you later." he said gently kissing her forehead before sliding the glasses down and running off into the shadows silently.
