Rhonda (rhondaal) | 41 comments What is the policy regarding series names? For example, "Love Series" as opposed to "Love" or "Wild Series" as opposed to "Wild". I didn't find anywhere in the Librarian's manual that said having the word Series in the series name wasn't allowed but I'm seeing notes under the Librarian Note section that pretty much says it's not allowed and was removed. Please advise. Is it allowed or not?

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments Having the word "Series" in the name of a series is a bit redundant, isn't it? It's the same principle as not having "A Novel" in the title of a novel.

Roberta | 90 comments Then the Librarian Manual needs to be updated because the policy regarding titles still says "The title should match the title shown on the cover of the book..."
