Have you read The Kill Order? Mark Spoilers please

I was quite excited for The Kill Order, and I was so stoked to find out the unanswered questions and knowing how the society came to crash down.

I was quite disappointed. For some reason, I just felt like two thirds of the book was non stop fighting scenes. I mean, fighting scenes are cool, but when it comes to the point where you read it so much that you can't even pay attention to the book anymore, now that's bad.

I think Dashner should have not made new characters, and should have kept it with younger Thomas and the other future gladers going through training for the maze. Now THAT is a book that I would like to read.

To be honest, the only thing I really enjoyed about The Kill Order was probably the prologue and the epilogue. Which showed Thomas in the past about to go into the maze, and then showed Thomas as a young child going into the organization that will teach him how to work for a cure because he is immune.

After reading the book, the one thing that haunts me continuously is the little girl that went to safety in the end. I keep wondering whether the girl was Teresa or not. I mean, they were renamed after all.

This is actually my first post in this group!

I just finished The Kill Order and I agree, I only enjoyed the prologue and epilogue. I wasn't interested (at all) in the new characters and found myself bored the entire book except for DeeDee.

Someone actually agrees! I've talked to many people and friends who have read the novel, and they felt like The Kill Order was still good and they enjoyed all of the new characters.
