okay, I'm 5 chapters in and I'm grumpy

I read the first book almost a year ago and I don't remember anything from it

and this book gives absolutely no hand holding. 5 chapters is almost 100 pages and I don't know anyone :(

I'm sure if I did, I'd be enjoying this more. so far it's just meh.

I'm only a couple chapters in. The more I read the more I remember. But I don't remember why Liam left the League. I remember it was about Cole but I don't remember specifics.

I'm so glad she doesn't have to deal with Martin!!! UGH! He was so awful! I hope we don't see him again, but that is prob just wishful thinking! :(

I'm going to my sister's tonight to help with Christmas dinner and we are going to watch Red 2!!! So excited! I'll be reading while I'm there when I can! I'll be back later tonight for another post! :D

Ok! I'm 11 chapters in

Do you remember the chapters being so long in the last one? Also this one seems different somehow. I remember reading book 1 in flash, at least that what's it seemed liked, looking back on it. It's not that this one is heavy or anything, I don't think that's the right word, but I just can't seem to read it very fast. And to top it off my kids and husband are home for winter break and I get NO reading done when they are home! lol!!

And Cole! I'm not sure I trust him! I don't know what to think about him! Yet! lol! (hide spoiler)]

yes, the chapters are LONG
and it was hard for me to really jump into this one. it just feels....heavier.

and maybe that's because exactly what you said - Ruby just seems...different. I remember in book 1 I was annoyed with how much she whined and seemed a little childish for the situation and power that she had.
but wow, she isn't that little girl anymore
