That is a technical limitation of the Goodreads system -- only the first-listed author will appear in some places.

Sarah wrote: "what's the reason for that? do you know?"One obvious reason might be that some books on Goodreads have fifty authors so someone decided to pick a limit. Fifty would be foolish but even a handful of author bios would be unhelpful on the book page.
If the names on the book are listed in the wrong order or one is missing then we will fix that. Just post here.
EDIT: Are you two Teambella?

Mary wrote: "But together we're YellowBella, who wrote Dusty. Which will now be Innocents. Do you want links adding to the old profiles pointing to your new ones?
As in our Fan fiction accounts people made for us? Sure! That would be cool.
As in our Fan fiction accounts people made for us? Sure! That would be cool. The Dusty fic page on Goodreads is really popular too. I didn't know if there was a way to direct those people to the published version page or not.
And we did work things out. <3
Is it the same book or are there minor/huge differences between the texts? It might be helpful to have the YellowBella name on Innocents so that the books (and all the reviews & ratings) can be combined on the new book.

Any problems, post them here. Bedtime in the UK.
Mary wrote: "Do i just add Yellowbella as an author then?"
Mary wrote: "Do i just add Yellowbella as an author then?"I've added Yellowbella to Innocents and tweaked the bio on the Yellowbella page which might partly solve Sarah's issue in the first post (see the top right-hand corner of the book page).

Also added link to MaryElizabeth23.
Actually, Can you take Yellowbella off? They are two separate works, and there's a lot of reference to "edward and bella" and theyre not them anymore.

      M. ~ Ms Bossy wrote: "I separated the fanfic and published edition"Do you think that was the correct thing to do? There is no real doubt that the published work is essentially the fanfic without the risky elements from the fanfic. removing certain names etc prior to publishing is standard practice. If you, and Mary/Sarah don't think that the books are similar enough to be connected then there doesn't seem much point in having some of the links like this one

which describe Innocents as the published form of Dusty.
I don't think the published book can be seen as a different edition of the fanfic. They are seperate works. Innocents is only one part of the fanfic. There will be two books whereas the fanfic is just one.

she's correct. it will be two separate books. Innocents is only part, and it's not a typical fic-publishing scenario, if I may say so. we're changing a lot more than the names. a lot. Innocents is only part of Dusty (the fic). they're not the same.

we're equal authors. we wrote this book together.
also, sometimes when i see the title on my homepage (because a friend has added it or some other reason) both of our names are listed as authors, and sometimes, only Mary's is.
what really drew my attention is that Innocents (Dusty #1) was recently added to the most anticipated books of 2014 list, and on that list, only Mary is listed.
help, please?
thank you so much.
