I'm actively working on this book, as well as studying from a KiSwahili lesson book!

I'm enjoying both immensely. What books are you reading so far this month? Any others planned before the year is over?

I love bell hooks... I actually am going to read Go Tell it on the Mountain and The Fire Next Time over the Christmas holiday. I also plan to tackle Isabel Wilkerson's The Warmth of Other Suns-which I know I won't finish by the end of the year.

You should definitely check out the short story reading section where we are reading Baldwin's Sonny's Blues.

I'm on the last pages of Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority. Methinks I need to read something a lil lighthearted next. I'm definitely going to read the bell hooks book though. I'm interested cos it's referenced in other books that I've read.
