How to request author status?

Sorry if this is painfully obvious and I just missed it, but Goodreads confuses me more than a little. Only been on since October and been using it as a reader, but I just put out my first book and am not sure how I go about getting author 'status' I added my book (which honestly I am amazed I was able to do without somehow crashing the site) but have no clue what the next step is. Any help would be appreciated. Of course feel free to point and laugh as well. Laughter if good for your health after all .

thanks! Another stupid question if you'll indulge me. I followed your link and it says "Note: We encourage all authors to sign up under their real names, and your first name (KL) doesn't match — we suggest you correct this before applying." I publish under my initials so does that really matter? It's not like my real name (Kevin) is a secret or anything, but if I publish under my initial shouldn't I have my account set up that way?

To match it would have to be exactly the same. That is, K.L. Phelps, not KL Phelps.
