Emily chuckled and pulled put of the driveway. In five minutes, they were at Walmart. She had her hood up as she climbed out of the car.
He followed her "lets do some food-shopping" he whispered
Emily nodded and walked into the store. She grabbed a cart and tossed food in. Some fruit, some things on her list, medicine, veggies, the rest of the things on her list.
He looked at all the food in the cart "yeah, we need those" he said
Emily nodded and added a few packs of gum to the cart before checking out.
Emily nodded and left the store then out everything into the trunk.
Emily hopped into the drivers seat and drove home.
Emily saw him smiling out of the corner of her eye and she started to smile too.
Emily pulled into the driveway and climbed out. She opened the trunk and pulled the groceries out.
He helped her, and walked back to the house
When Emily got inside, she put the groceries away. "Hungry?"
Emily started to make lunch. Ten minutes later, she set two plates of grilled cheese sandwiches on the table.
Emily nodded and started eating her sandwich.
"Thank you." Emily took her last few bites.
"thank you." Emily said with a smile.
"Maybe... Where can I use my powers here?"
Emily thought for a moment. She gestured for him to follow her and she went to the basement.
Emily locked the door behind them and went into the bathroom. She filled the bathtub with water. "This good?"
Emily nodded with a small smile. She stepped out of the bathroom to give him some space but she was curious about his powers.
He looked at the water, and slowly moved them up
He moved a bit of the water toward him, and made a ball
Emily kept watching, thinking about how cool it was
He changed it again, and made a cube, then a pyramid, then other objects
Emily smiled. He had obviously practiced before.
