Emily shook her head. "Dead."

He hugged her softly

Emily didn't hesitate to hug him back.

He let go "so... What's now?"

Emily shrugged.

"I've never gotten this far." Emily explained.

"Wait, what?" He asked her, confused

"I've never gotten a supernatural to protect."

[Alan]

"Really? That's your first time?"

Emily nodded.

"Wow... So who did this before you? Wait... It means your parents just died?!"

Emily shook her head and took her badge out. "Just turned 18. The rest of OOSNP did it before."

[Alan]

"Oh... That's great!"

Emily smiled a bit then stood.

"Where are you going?"

"Shopping." Emily explained. "Coming?"

"Sure" he smiled and stood up

"We need a story." Emily said. "A reason to know each other."

"Friends from childhood?"

[Elmina]

Emily shook her head. "It would work if we were older." She thought for a moment. "Brother and sister?" She suggested.

"Yeah, if you think we look like that"

[Elmina]

Emily thought for a moment. "Adopted."

[Alan]

"Yeah, that'll do!"

[Elmina]

Emily nodded. "Follow me." She said as she went into her bedroom to get coats; it was still snowing.

He followed her and nodded

Emily grabbed two coats and two sweatshirts. She slid a black sweatshirt on and a black coat on over it. She handed a coat and sweatshirt to him.

"Thanks" he smiled and put them on "ok, I'm ready!"

[Elmina]

Emily nodded and headed downstairs. She stopped in the middle of the stairs. "What's your name?"

[Alan]

"My name? Alan Fog"

[Elmina]

Emily nodded and went into the kitchen. She got her keys off the table and threw them into her purse.

[Alan]

He followed her "what we should buy?"

[Elmina]

"Food." Emily told him.

[Alan]

"Umm... Yeah" he giggled "I mean what food?"

[Elmina]

Emily pulled out a list of things she needed. It said 'flower. Eggs. Milk. Corn. Toilet paper. Mac and cheese. Ramon noodles.'

[Alan]

"Why flower?" He asked her

[Elmina]

"Baking." Emily said. "I'm out."

[Alan]

"Ok" he said "lets go"

[Elmina]

Emily nodded. She went outside and climbed in her car.

[Alan]

He followed her "it's nice outside..."
