"What should I do now...." He whispered loudly "maybe a kill or two"

Marie went stif with fake fear. "Don't kill us!" Mark begged.
"Because.... We.... Gave you cheese...." Mark said.
"Hey, look at that" he did a small fireball "it's just fire, right? It's fire"
Mark shook in fear. "If you're going to kill me, do it now." He begged.
Mark didn't say anything. He didn't move either.
"Marie, would you like to tell my story to Mark here?"
"Alan has been living here for the last few days. I brought him here to hide him from the FBI." Marie told Mark. "You traitor!" Mark yelled. "How could you bring that monster into our home!"
"I'm not a monster" he said quietly "it's you who got me angry"
"You are a monster! A defect! You shouldn't be alive, not with what you can do. You're dangerous if you're going to threaten to kill everyone who makes you mad." Mark said. "Mark!" Marie yelled. "Shut up! Ok? Just shut up."
"Well, if you think I'm such a monster, I better leave. It was nice meeting you, Marie" he smiled to her, and headed to the door
"Alan!" Marie shot a glare at Mark. "Please, we can go rent a hotel room or something. Mark just doesn't understand that you're still human."
"I'm not a human for him" he said quietly "either I could kill him or he could kill me"
"He won't kill you if he never sees us again." Marie pointed out.
"I mean I doesn't matter who is stronger-he would still think I'm not a human. Fine. Let's go away"
"I just need to grab a few things." Marie said. "I'll meet you downstairs in five minutes." "You're can't leave!" Mark exclaimed.
"Yeah, actually I can."
He looked at Mark "it's your last chance. If you'll think I AM a human, we can stay here"
"If you're going to stay, both of you can leave." Mark decided.
"hmmmf!" he said and turned around "bye and I'll not see you later"
"Good." Mark mumbled. Marie glared at him then went to the other room and started packing things in a few bags. When all of her stuff was packed, she went downstairs.
He ran after her "pew! those stairs are really high in this size.."
"Oh yeah, we should probably turn you back to normal size." Marie said as she went back up the stairs and held her hand out of him to climb on.
Marie nodded and went back down the stairs and into the basement.
Marie put him down on the table and picked up the shrink gun. "Ready?" She asked.
Marie did what he said and put the gun down.
He grew back to his normal size. He hugged her
Marie hugged him back. "I'm so sorry."
"It's ok... Wait, is it yours AND Mark's house? You like married or something?"
"It was, and we were dating." Marie said, emphasis an the were.
"oh" he said quietly "ok lets go! we better take the shrink ray with us, for any case" he said and picked it up
"Yeah." Marie opened one of her bags. "Put it in here." She said.
"No problem." Marie smiled. "We can rent a hotel room until I can find a place. I'll probably find a new job too." She decided.
Marie picked up her bags and walked up the stairs.
Marie went into the garage and hopped into the drivers side of her car.
He sat down in the guest's side "I'm ready!"
Marie pulled out and started driving in a random direction.
"I want to upgrade the gun" he said "don't worry-I don't think I'll need you to buy anything"
"Alright." Marie nodded. "What are you going to do?"
"I think I'll turn it into a grow/shrink gun"
"Isn't that what it already is?" Marie asked.
