"He won't treat you well. He'll demand i," Marie wrote and stopped for a moment, looking for the right word. "Do my job." She finally wrote.

Marie squeezed her eyes shut for a moment before opening them and opening the door with her free hand. "Mark!" She called. "What?" She heard Mark ask from a different room.
"Come here!" Marie called and she heard footsteps as Mark walked up the stairs.
"What?" Mark asked.
"Look what I found," Marie said deviously. "It was trying to hide in our house."
"Is that?" Make paused, "a mini supernatural?"
Marie nodded with a grin. "He looks like a mouse."
Mark laughed. "He does! We should keep him! I used to have a mouse, and I still have the cage.""What are you waiting for? Go get it before he jumps off my hand or something stupid like that." Marie tells him. Mark grins and rushed downstairs. Marie shoots him an apologetic look.
Marie looked at him sadly. "It's my fault." She managed to whisper before Mark returned and so did her devious grin. He was holding a big terrarium that looked like it would hold a snake. "This is it. I used to keep my mice in here before I fed them to my snake. He died though and I think a pet mouse would be cooler than a snake that does nothing but eat and sleep." Mark said as he set down the cage. Marie put Alan down in in and Mark snapped a lid on it.
"You're in your new home." Marie said in a voice that even have her the chills. "You're going to stay here."
"You do now." Marie told him in the same devious voice as before. "You're gonna be our little pet from now on."
Marie looked at Mark and burst out laughing. "He's just giving up.""You'd think they'd be a bit more feisty." Mark teased.
"For what? I-I can break the cell with my powers, but then you'll kill me. I-I know you. The supernatural killers!"
"Killers? We aren't going to kill you. We'll just keep you around for our entertainment. The worst we'd do is give you to the FBI, but where's the fun in that?" Mark said.
"Well I don't know, when we get tired of ya, we might have to send you there." Mark said with a grin.
"You'll be a good little mouse and you'll entertain us with you're annoying, high pitched voice?" Marie said with a huge grin as she moved closer to the cage.
"You go to the store and get some mouse food. I'll stay here and take care of our little guest." Mark said. "Come on Mark, he has to eat actual food." Marie reminded him.
Mark sighed. "Fine."
"Marie, go get some cheese." Mark demanded. Marie nodded and stood. She shot Alan another apologetic look before getting cheese from the kitchen and coming back up and handing the cheese to Mark. He grinned and opened the top, dropped it in, and closed the top again.
Marie's phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out and looked at it then turned to Mark. "I've got to go." She held up her phone for him to see. "Work." She explained and left the room quickly.
"He's not dead. In fact, I have him right here." Mark took something out of his pocket, a living snake.
"Why not? It's not like you're the exact size of his usual food or anything." Mark said sarcastically with a grin.
"You better learn to shut that big mouth of yours it it'll get you in a lot of trouble." Mark warned.
