He waited for her to come back

She pulled into her driveway and hopped out of the car and into the house. "I'm home." She called.
"Finally!" He smiled "I'm gonna die of thirst here!"
Marie walked into the kitchen. "Sorry." She took a cup out of the cupboard and filled it with water.
"No problem." She set it in front of him. "Need anything else?"
He tried to jump and reach it "y-yeah" he blushed
Marie resisted the urge to laugh. She held out her finger for him to climb onto.
He climbed on her finger carefully, and hugged it
Marie rested her finger on the cup so he could still be on her finger while drinking.
He slowly drank tap bit. Suddenly, he fell down into the cup
Marie gasped and knocked the cup over.
He fell out from the cup with all the water "I-I'm ok... Just a bit wet" he whispered
Marie carefully picked him up and set him in her hand. "You don't look ok."
"You should probably get warmed up, though."
He hugged her finger "if you think so..."
Marie nodded and put her hand under her finger in case he fell and headed upstairs.
Marie sat down on the couch and pulled a blanket over her, she was still holding Alan on her finger. "Want to watch some tv?" She asked.
He smiled "sure" it was warm in her hand
Marie grabbed the remote with her free hand and switched on the tv. It was switched to a crime show. "What do you want to watch?" She asked. "I doubt you want to see a show about murder and police."
"All right." Marie switched it to a show about dogs.
Marie watched for a while before falling asleep.
He noticed she fell asleep, and cuddled in her palm
Luckily, Marie didn't toss in her sleep so she just laid there, with Alan in her palm.
He soon fell asleep in the warmth of her palm
Marie woke when a big, warm hand shook her shoulder. "Wake up!" An angry voice demanded. She opened her eyes and gasped. "Mark? You weren't supposed to come home until next month."
"I came home early to check on you and the house is a mess!"
He woke up suddenly, and looked around. There was a man he didn't know, so he cuddled more in her palm
Marie closed her palm so Mark couldn't see him. "I'm sorry. I've been very busy with a case about a supernatural."Mark's face softened. "Good. Those pests don't belong in this country. Just try to clean up after yourself."
He was a bit angry about hat he said, but kept hiding in her palm
"How long are you staying?" Marie asked curiously. "At least a year." Mark replied.
"Great." Marie said, trying to sound happy but when you're keeping an illegal supernatural in a house with a supernatural hater, it gets pretty annoying.
"What's going on there?" He asked himself
"I'm going to the bathroom." Marie said and she stood, immediately stuffing her hands in her pockets. "Hurry back, I'm starving." Mark told her and Marie nodded. When she got into the bathroom and shut the door she put Alan gently on the counter and held her finger to her lips.
He looked at her and nodded, knowing he should be quiet for his life
Marie took out a piece of paper and a pen and wrote "I'm so sorry. I don't know if I'll be able to hide you anymore. I'll find somewhere for you, a friend," she paused and wrote, "I don't know what to do..." She admitted
"Don't worry..." He whispered "we'll found a solution. I'm sure"
"Either that," she wrote, "or I'm going to have to do my job..."
"No!" He went wide eyes "there must be something we can do!"
Marie put her finger over her lips again, and she nodded.
"Shrink more is not an option..." He whispered "I know! Tell him I'm your pet! You found a shrink ray and decided to take me as your pet"
"But you're still supernatural." Marie wrote. "Mark hates anyone that has anything to do with supernatural.
"But it's not like you'll act like I'm York friend! It's like... Living subject"
