Does anybody know anything about Stephen King's 'policy' on autograph requests sent to him in letters? Is it even possible? I live in Ireland, so, sadly, the chance of actually getting to meet him in person is infinitesimal. Also, do any of you have signed copies? I'd like to hear your story on how you got them!

From StephenKing.com's FAQ: Stephen only autographs books at official book signings. He no longer accepts books sent through the mail for his signature.:(
Awh, that's devastating, thanks though! I'll have to stalk his itinerary then for he hopes of getting a signing. haha
I'm not lucky... I'm UNLUCKY. I actually managed to go to his Boston event, but I was like 3 spots behind someone who got a signed copy... who then advised that he was going to sell it on Ebay, and that he'd not managed to actually finish any of King's books. SO UNFAIR. >_<
Yeah... I was tempted to push him down and run away with his copy. But then... he was only 16, and that would be mean. It was a satisfying daydream though! ;)
I'm thinking more authors are going to start doing this in the future. Maybe we'll all get lucky and King will start doing it as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAF-L...
It's a Longpen event. Signing books remotely.

I can understand you wanting to push him down and steal his book lol. You did well to show such restraint!
