Cait Poytress (caitertot) | 59 comments Next on my list is Flowers for Algernon, since I just found out it's a Lost book (!) and I wanted to read it for TNBBC's April group read. After that, I want to focus completely on Lost books throughout the remainder of the season. My short list includes the books listed below.

The Chosen
The Sheltering Sky
Valis
Catch-22 (I know many people think it sucks but I'll still give it a shot)
The Mysterious Island
Island
Our Mutual Friend
The Brothers Karamazov
Bad Twin
O Pioneers!
Stranger in a Strange Land
Lancelot
A Wrinkle in Time

If anyone happens to even read this, any suggestions for what I should bump to the top of the list? How much time will Dickens & Dostoevsky take? I own them all, so that's not an issue. :o)

Cait Poytress (caitertot) | 59 comments Thank you Luann!

message 9: by JSou (new)

JSou The Brothers Karamazov took me about 3 weeks/month. It was excellent though. I didn't want it to end. This makes me want to read all my Lost books straight through, too.

Rach (rachlovestv) | 64 comments I loved Brothers Karamazov, but if you want to get a bunch read before the season finale, I'd hold off on it. I echo Luann's recommendations (minus O Pioneers, as I haven't read it), and take Island off all together. ;)
