Okay, it has become something of a running joke about how many M-named characters there are in The Noctivagas Chronicle (TNC), but I confess... I didn't do it on purpose! My characters largely name themselves, and they generally get it right, so I don't argue with them overmuch.
Anyway, here is a list of all the M-named characters and their book of first appearance (BR = Blood Roses, MS = Morning Stars):
Madeline Owen ~ One of the two central protagonists of the story, a super pale, 15-year-old girl and identical twin sister of... (BR)
Marissa Owen ~ Madeline's better half... younger, faster, stronger, not as nerdy, into butt kicking and snarky comments. (BR)
Marlena Morgenstern ~ Wife of Wilhelm Morgenstern; she takes a shine to Marissa Owen due to shared interest in martial arts. (BR)
Marcus Amacus ~ Jesuit priest and member of the Facis Sacrum corps; spies on the Morgensterns to prevent release of the Inmanitas Noctivagas book. (BR)
Maelcom Greene ~ Adamite apprentice to Wilhelm Morgenstern; becomes a good friend and ally of the twins. (BR)
Anna Magdalena Schull ~ Daughter of Gertrude "Trudie" Schull, nee Stenz. (BR)
