Jake headed back to his cabin Luke said"just lay your stuff down anywhere and I'll have someone lay a sleeping bad there for you"as all the other kids were jumping at each other and stealing stuff
"I don't have any 'stuff'." Ally replied. She looked around. "And I probably wouldn't wet it down anyway." She muttered.
He nodded and said"yea that's understandable,just find a sleeping bag then and put it were you want to sleep then get ready to eat"
"Where do I get a sleeping bag?" Ally asked as she looked around at the countless sleeping bags and a few bunks.
"just grab one"he said and trotted off
"Ok..." Ally grabbed a random sleeping bag off the floor and found an open spot in the corner and laid the bad down.
After that there was a announcement that could barley be heard,Luke said"it's time to eat everybody get in line!"
Ally saw everyone rushing and pushing, and even some punching, so she waited until everyone was inline, and she went to the very back.
Luke got in the front and opened the door then started to march((should jake be the counselor of the Hephaestus cabin?))
((sure.))Ally followed the huge line slowly and she quickly fell behind.
In front of them was the Hephaestus cabin and hake was leading them to their tableLuke said"well looks like were late again"
"Why would we be late?" Ally wondered out loud.
"hello Hermes cabin were always late"said some random kid in front of her
"I don't get it. What's wrong with Hermes cabin?" Ally was confused. What was different about the Hermes cabin?
"nothing wrong were just late"he said,confused
"But why? Why are you always late?" Ally asked, annoyed by the random kid.
Because everybody never gets along"he said and left it at thatJake set down with his cabin
"Oh. Ok." Ally could already tell she wasn't gonna like her cabin.
"unless you get claimed"the guy said,guessing what she thought
'Claimed...' She thought. "How do I get claimed?" She asked the boy.
"your godly parent will show some kind of sign that you are their daughter"he explained
"Oh." Ally was a bit disappointed. Who knows how long that could take?
"I was never claimed"said the boy
"How long have you been here?" Ally asked, a little worried about what the answer might be.
Ally gasped. "Five years? You mean I could be stuck in the Hermes cabin for five years?" She realized what she said and quickly tried to correct herself , "oh god, I didn't mean it like that. I just meant I don't want to have to worry about my stuff being stolen for five years."
"don't worry most demigods are claimed after they are introduced into the camp"he saidJake ate something that was red and seemed really hot and some drunk kind of fruit punch mixed with something he would not talk about
"I hope you get claimed." Ally told the boy.
"thanks" he said as he sat down at the Hermes table to eatRandom food appeared in front of luke
Ally nodded and picked the only empty spot left, across from Luke. "How did you do that?" She asked as she sat down.
"you just think of something you want to eat"he said"and it will appear"
Ally thought of a grilled cheese sandwich with French fries on the side with a big blob of ketchup and it appeared on her plate just as she imagined it. "Weird." She muttered, but she didn't argue and started eating. ((Gtg))
When jake finished his drink there were some silent boos and yay's,because they had made a bet he could not drink fruit punch and that other stuff,((tell you later what it is))but he drank it and some people lost there bets
Jake grinned as the people booed and yayed
Ally looked over and saw people cheering(and booing) on the guy she saw earlier. What was his name? Jake? Yeah. Probably. He was a few tables over.
Another drink appeared in front if him but it was jut a normal drink not one of the bets,and he drunk from it.
((What's the other stuff?))Ally thought of a Pepsi and it appeared in her glass. She took a drink and it was diet. "What the heck?" She muttered.
((mechanical oil...they have some pretty hard bets...))"no sodas allowed in camp"Luke explained,hearing her murmur
"Amazing." Ally said sarcastically. ((O.O))
((yea I can change it if you want...but it must sill be something challenging...))Luke said"you will get used to it"
The boy said"Mr.D will never dry used to it"
((Nah. It's just... Weird.))"Mr. D?" Ally asked. She barely knew the gods as it is. Much less who Mr. D was. "Who's Mr. D?"
((yep...I have a creative mind))"Mr. D is short for Dionysus"Luke explained"he is the god if wine,and parties,and something else"
"What's the 'something else'?" Ally asked, not entirely sure who Dionysus was except 'the wine god'
Luke said"I can't remember"
"Oh." Ally nodded and thought, 'that's helpful.'
After a few minutes,everybody got up a few at a time to give up a portion of their food to the gods
"What are thy doing?" Ally asked Luke. "Why are they throwing their food in the fire?"
"it's a offering to the gods,when it's are tables turn just choose some of your food to throw into the fire"he explained
"Ok." Ally tore her sandwich in half and saved it for the gods. "Should I go now?"
