Regarding #306, one has an ASIN (Kindle) and the other has what appears to be a valid ISBN. I changed the one with the ISBN to "ebook".

Details are correct (year, page count, &c) but the cover is not. The 2005 cover is the same as this edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

The 2007 reprint uses the same ISBN but the cover that's in place now. I think someone tried to add an alternate cover edition at some point, because there's a duplicate here with the same cover but a truncated ISBN13 in the 10 field: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Not sure if the cover was changed at some point for 2005 edition. If yes, not sure what the best thing to do is and I leave it to someone who does know. If no, can someone merge the duplicates please and I'll fix the data and add an alternate cover edition for the 2005 version. Thanks!

Author has requested that the following be deleted as they will no longer be published. Three have publication dates of 2014 and beyond, but one has a Nov 2013 date. Can I clarify whether it's OK to delete the pre-pubs?

2005 is the publication date for both, which is correct (the 2007 reissue would still the 2005 edition, if that makes sense?).
I _think_ the black cover ISBN might be a North American edition, but not certain. It's not showing on Worldcat at all for me.
I will merge 11035014 with 930131 as being a truncated ISBN of the earlier record but if you have THAT ISBN with another cover, we will still need an ACE of that cover. If you're happy doing that, I'll leave it to you, but can you put Librarian notes on BOTH editions in this case, please. :)

Do you mean I should seperate each duplicate and then combine it with its target edition? Just making sure, I don't want to do anything wrong!

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Sarah - exactly that. E.g. Paperback to Paperback, 2005 to 2005, and so on. When we merge a book, we need to know that the merge will go into the correct edition, or closest as the merge automatically goes to the next most popular version...

This is particularly important with language!
