Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments Soooo who has completed their 2013 goodreads reading challenge?
For those of you who have not completed it do you think you will??
What was the best and worst book you read this year so far?

Sara | 860 comments I have read the 200 books I pledged for the challenge. There were so many great books I read that I don't think I can narrow it down to just one. Worst book was the Last Kiss Goodnight by Gena Showalter. I read a few books that were equally subpar but I didn't have any expectations for those so I wasn't as disappointed as I was with the Last Kiss Goodnight.

Next year I'm setting the bar at 300 books!

Karena (karenafagan) I met mine last month. It was 175. I am up to 191. My best books, there were way too many. I really liked Life After Life, The Golem and the Jinni, Hunted, The Weird Sisters, the Incryptid series by Seanan McGuire, and Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking.

I typically like more books than I dislike. I wasn't thrilled with Blood Rights.

Depending on what I end the year with will decide how many I set my goal to for next year. I want to divide it up a bit too. To get a wider horizon of genres and what not.

Alisa I met my challenge already. It was 200 and I'm in the 230's. I'm hoping to make 250 by year's end. I really have gone over that if I count in all the books I've read more than one time this year. Do the rest of you count rereads?

I'm not sure I can pick a best. Maybe Chase in Shadow (Johnnies, #1) by Amy Lane I've enjoyed a lot of books this year. Others I really liked:

Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy, #1) by Mira Grant A Blood Seduction (Vamp City, #1) by Pamela Palmer Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days, #1) by Susan Ee Heart of Obsidian (Psy-Changeling, #12) by Nalini Singh Touch & Geaux (Cut & Run, #7) by Abigail Roux Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths, #1) by K.A. Tucker

Hands down the worst book I read was Undeniable (Undeniable, #1) by Madeline Sheehan I hated it so much it will probably earn a place on worst books I ever read in my lifetime list.

Sara | 860 comments I didn't count re-reads or audible books. My count would be much higher if I had.
