What are you selecting as your Kindle First title this month?

I also seem to be one of the group with I am Livia but don't know when I will get to it. The "look inside" was promising when I read the first part of the book.

I'm choosing I am Livia. Looks like a good read and will be a different genre than I usually read.

This month, I have picked Dragon's Triangle for my choice.

Nothing really looks good to me this month. I'm generally interested in SF, horror, or mysteries -- sometimes a good historical novel -- but none of those are on offer this month. I welcome suggestions!

Devil's Triangle for me. But nowhere close to having time to read it.

This month's choice is zone Lavender Ribbon. I need a beach read.

I went with Inamorta this time -- dark historical fiction always gets my attention.

After ordering it, I received an Amazon promotional credit to get any or all of a small group of similar Kindle books for $1.99. Some look quite intriguing, & I've had at least one on my wish list for a while. Haven't bought any yet, but probably will.

I've been disappointed the last two months and haven't selected one for either July or August. Guess it's the summer slump. :(

Wasn't as intrigued by any of August's choices, but finally went with The Paper Magician. This one also came with a promotional credit.

I'm taking a sabbatical from Kindle First. I have read few of those I have gotten in the past, and I anticipate maintaining a Kindle Unlimited subscription for a while.

Looking back, the Paper Magician was very interesting. In fact, I have pre-ordered the sequel, The Glass Magician. As it turns out, the book was in the realm of "magical realism" of which I am becoming fond. This time I am venturing into another genre, young adult in the choice of: "Ticker".

Did anyone notice that this month we get two free titles? I don't think that was the case in December. Fortunately, there were also two that interested me: Heart Collector and Everything Burns

Thanks for the head's up about there being two selections. I didn't notice that. And, yes, you can go back and choose a second one. I just did. I got Miramount,s Ghost and Flirting with Felicity.

Allowing us two free choices a month has been a little less inspiring than I'd hoped, but this month I had no problem choosing. Went with Helen of Sparta & The Gemini Effect.
