Someone recommended a book an now I can't recall it. HELP PLEASE

Do you remember anything about the book other than that it had the word Guillotine in it? And when was the recommendation made? Any way you can contact the person who recommended it?

There are about 22 pages of books what have the word Guillotine in the title or that are about them. So any other clues you have would be great.

Try worldcat.org which has library listings. Restrict by year fiction etc. You didn't say when it was published or fiction/non fiction...
Does the title word have an e on the end? If so that may help.

Could it have been Dry Guillotine: Fifteen Years Among The Living Dead by Rene Benbenoit? It's his account of his time as a prisoner in the penal colony of French Guiana.
