Ginger followed Hope, "Uh..... okay..."

Hope looked around. "Hmmmmm....coffee." Hope grabbed Ginger's hand, "Come on!"

"Coffee?" She sounded the word out, "What's that?"

Hope looked at Ginger. "A drink. Oh ya, you need it."

"Sounds good."

Hope went into the coffee shop still holding Ginger's hand. "One large coffee and one small coffee."

Ginger watched wide-eyed as they made the drink.

They handed the coffees to Hope. "Here." she said handing the large to Ginger.

"Hmm...." she took a small sip, "Hot!" She jumped, sloshing some coffee on her arm.

Hope laughed. "You have to wait till it cools." She said laughing as she whiped the coffee of of Ginger's arm. "Come sit down."

Ginger gingerly ((no pun intended)) nodded and followed her to a table.

Hope sat down. "Your first human experience. Spilling coffee on yourself."

"You mean... it's not uncommon for people to spill coffee on themselves?..." Ginger blushed.

Hope laughed. "Some of the time it is."

[Leader Echo]

A stone outside the coffee shop suddenly shook violently. The stone started to crack. It wasnt even a stone at all, it was egg. A DRAGON egg and a very rare one at that.

Ginger looked outside, shocked, "What was that?!" She jumped up.

[Leader Echo]

A hole cracked in the egg and two red eyes looked out of it. They stared at Ginger and closed silently.

Ginger saw that eyes watched her, she felt a chill down her spine.

[Leader Echo]

The eyes suddenly burst open and the egg tumbled out of its spot and rolled towards a street that cars were flying by on.

Ginger gasped and jumped into action, spilling her coffee all over herself. She ran to the dragon, scooping it up in her arms; car horns blared, scaring Ginger.

((but Ginger doesn't know what cars are!))

[Leader Echo]

The little dragon inside the egg yelped and stared at Ginger, wide-eyed and confused.

Ginger looked down at the little one, hugging the egg closer; she tried to move, but cars were whirling by on either side of her. She could easily just transport them out of there, but her rule as a reaper is to not show those who don't have to know she is one.

[Leader Echo]

Pix suddenly shimmered with light and they teleported to the side of the street. He settled down inside the egg and smiled.

Ginger looked down at Pix, shocked, "Why'd you do that?!" Cars had stopped, and people watched them with shock, "Did you see what that girl did?" Someone whispered, "Great, now they think I did it."

Hope ran out of the coffee shop and found Ginger. "Aw, a baby dragon....."

Pix yawned and suddenly started looking like a little dog. A little girl ran up to Ginger and tugged on her clothes lightly. "may I pet your puppy?" a large crowd of little children ran out from behind their parents and started to circle Ginger and hope. "what's his name?" one piped up and the question was taken up by the other kids. Pix started to thrash around and wiggled down to the ground. The kids chased after him as he darted around, down the sidewalk.

Ginger stood still in shock, "What.... happened?"

[Leader Echo]

Pix dashed back and jumped into ginger's arms with a bark. The kids patted his head one by one then skipped away happily. Pix closed his eyes and started to sleep.

Hope stood in awe. "I think you have a pet dragon...."

Ginger shook her head, "I don't want a pet dragon..." She shoved Pix into Hope's arms, "You have him... I'm done being human for now."

Pix started screeching and crying. He slapped hope with his tail and scratched her.

Ginger grabbed Pix, sighing, "What do you want with me dragon?" She whispered, angered, "I need to return to the underworld."

Pix purred and curled up in Ginger's arms. *I dwont cware.* he purred.

Ginger rolled her eyes, "You're insane dragon, and gonna get yourself killed."

Pix shimmered and shifted into a black cat. He purred and curled up in ginger's arms.

Ginger jumped and shreiked, not expecting it to shapeshift. ((yes I just called you an if, get over it))

"Um, I think it likes you." Hope giggled.

Pix yawned and a little flame caught the thing's clothes on fire.

((ha, i called you a thing, deal with it.))

Ginger growled, and put a hand on the flame, it instantly distinguished.

Pix flashed a pointy smile and purred.

Hope sat down next to Ginger and laughed. "Your next human experience, a pet."

Ginger graoned, "I don't think humans deal with mongruls like this." ((sp on mongruls?))

Hope laughed some more. "Well, you're not exactly 100% human, so this counts."

*ill be good.* Pix promised and shifted into a puppy. He jumped to the ground and sat by Ginger's legs.

Hope smiled. "He's so cute."

Ginger couldn't help but giggle and pet the dog, she always had a soft spot for dogs.
