What's everyone reading right now? My son is about to turn a year old and I suddenly feel unprepared for toddlerhood. So on one hand I am hoarding parenting books and trying to catch up, but what I really want to read is either Identical by Scott Turow or The Tilted World by Tom Franklin and Beth Ann Fennelly, both checked out from the library but as yet uncracked. :)

I picked that up once, but then didn't get around to reading it. Maybe one day!

2. The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #3) - audio book while wife and 9yo son are reading.
3. Thousandstar (Cluster, #4) - in bed before going to sleep (having weird dreams)

I'm reading Shotgun Lovesongs by Nickolas Baker. The premise is a bit ho-hum but the reviews were so good I couldn't resist. Not far enough through yet to know where I will land on it. Next up--The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, another that has gotten excellent reviews, including from my mom, one of my favorite critics. ;)

Is anyone else reading Natchez Burning, the Greg Iles doorstop that has been getting so much attention?

No. but I am listening to Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and it is excellent! I cried several times last weekend driving to and from Nashville. I probably looked very silly.

I'm reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare right now! People should read it with me and discuss!
