Josh walked into his classroom and started to write the lesson on the board. Taking a deep breathe, he heard the marker squeak every to quietly in his dead silent classroom. He was the replacement for a really old teacher that just retired.
Jessica was walking down the with her head towards the ground watching her feet move ever so slowly. Taking a deep breathe, she looked around seeing familiar faces. She doesn't talk to any of them though. All she was looking for was Alec. Making it to her locker, she stood there looking for him since that was their meeting place last year.

Alice was chatting with her friends by her locker when the bell rang indicating first class was starting. She waved goodbye to them and opened her locker, grabbing her books for the first period. Chemistry was never her strong suit and honestly it always bored her. A few days ago she had heard a new teacher was in for the old one, she was hoping he or she could help her out and make the subject more appealing.
Alec fixed his hat and closed his locker door. He grinned and called at some of his guy friends on the other side of the hallway. Waving lightly he saw Jessica leaning on her locker he back towards him. Smirking he creep-ed up behind her moving his hands over her eyes. " guess who it is?" he said mimicking some high pitched girl voice.

Josh was sitting down at his desk organizing the labs that he planned them to do for that month. He watched as the students file in one at a time. He saw them giving him weird looks because he believed most of them thought that they would have another really old teacher. Trying to keep his laughter in, he stood up to say hello to the class.
Jessica looked down at the ground sighing because she couldn't find him. Taking a deep breathe, she sighed, then felt hands go around her eyes. Her heart stop. "Alec." She said with a small voice because there was so many people in the hallways. Taking his hands away, she turned around to see him. Smiling she hugged him and buried her head in his chest because she hadn't seen him in a long time.

Walking into class, Alice squeezed past some loitering people by the door way and made her way to her desk. For a good thirty seconds her jaw was dropped open slightly. No way was this....hunk...her teacher!
Alec chuckled when realization finally dawned on her. She was a shy girl, one who didn't think much of herself. He himself could not see the reason for this though, she was a gorgeous smart kind girl. Grinning down at her he wrapped his arms loosely around her small waist. He took a step back to steady themselves when she buried her face in him. Stroking her hair, he rested his chin on her head. " i missed you Jessica." he whispered in her ear.

He said, his eyes loitering on a girl in the front of the class. "Mr. McKenzie can no longer be teaching since he retired after a long day of persuading." Josh used to be a substitute teacher, so some of them had seen him before. "Okay. So since today is the first day I thought it would be fun to just relax and ask some questions for each other."
Jessica breathed in and out to calm down even though she knew she was fine because it was Alec. "I missed you, too. Don't scare me like that again!" She whined still a little startled since she wasn't a people person. Stepping backwards and looking up at him since he was a lot taller than her, she grinned at him. "What's your first period class?" Jessica asked grabbing her books again.
