Having Difficulty merging two books

I'm showing three different editions of Self-Reference ENGINE by Toe EnJoe, but for some reason I'm not able to merge them. When I bring up the merge editions screen, they don't show up in the listing. The listings are:

Duplicate #1 (Kindle Edition): https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
Duplicate #2 (Japanese Kindle Edition): https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Combined.
The first author must be an exact match in order to combine. The second book had 2 spaces between the names and the English name needed to be added in the 1st position on the third book.

Note: Merge is very different than combine. Merging 2 editions leaves one book with one edition. Combining results in one book with 2 editions.
