Final thoughts

We had a group discussion last night. Present were myself, Cory, André, and Jason.

We all agreed that the ending of the book was rather anticlimatic. It seemed like the end had no weight to it. The writing style in the book was also a bit odd. All of the characters seemed very one dimentional.

That said, the book was mostly enjoyed. The concepts were interesting, even if the characters weren't.

Some things I personally enjoyed was the part where the MacArthur was catching up with the Crazy Eddie probe. I liked how they had no inertial dampeners, and had to deal with the high acceleration. I also thought the museum in part three was a neat concept. The discussion of the evolution of the moties in part four was interesting in my opinion.
