Since our weekend discussion on overrated and underrated music and Nirvana I've found myself listening to a playlist consisting of The Who, The Kinks, The Animals and Wolfmother for whatever reason.
yes! wolfmother. that first CD could have been recorded in the 70's. are they still around?
They have a new one coming out soon. Not sure when but a new song is supposed to be on the new Guitar Hero coming out in Sept.

Rose Hill Drive was great! excellent video too. i had not heard them before. thanks for the musical fix gretchen.no randy. i do not listen to "dave". sorta sick of dave now and it has nothing to do with him. it is all the people who worship him and drive me bat crazy with it. i have a younger friend who fri/sat used Twitter to tell everyone (anyone) each song he did as he did it. i could hardly sleep worrying which song might be played next
KD - man o man i was a huge KISS fan in the 70's early 80's. (they sort of lost me when the solo albums came out). my son, who is a musician, said one time "those guys are just clowns" to which i replied "when they opened the show they said 'YOU WANTED THE BEST AND YOU GOT EM, THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE LAND......KISS !!!!' and he replied "no way". i broke out a box with about 100 old CREEM mags that had either KISS on the cover or an article about them. he was amazed at how huge they were
I saw Ace Frehley in Milwaukee once. Just like Wayne and Garth. But I swear Ace was so drugged out he probably needed two people to prop him up on stage.I need to find some new music. I'm in a bit of a rut.
