maybe, i don't remember every song played.

OK, so the fashions don't hold up particularly well, but the album does. So why no CD release?

Another CDMIA, produced by John Cougar.
Have not heard any of his new album, but according to the Detroit Free Press, his mission to become his generation's Bob Seger conitinues.

I'm listening to the MMJ station on Pandora and Kings of Leon "True Love Way" came on. Good screaming guitar and deep bass line stuff. I know some of you scoff at their sudden widespread popularity, but I like it.

One of many talents!

Successfully picking the lock to your mind, the Furs tumble in and leave their muddy boot prints everywhere, Richard Butler's jaded, three-packet-habit larynx soaked in old Bowie records.
No matter how hard you scrub, those marks just won't go away.
"The one who insists he was first in the line is the last to remember her name" get me every time.

There’s a lot of ear-bleeding psychedelic noise here - corrosive love songs drenched in adrenaline backwashes of slow-motion sludge - but it bumps uglies with shimmering, fuzz-coated guitar, murky whirlpools of ethereal, Beach-Boys-in-the-throes-of-an-opium-dream harmony, and good old traditional pop craftsmanship that no amount of harsh electrical shocks can hide.
You know you’ll recover, but you’re not sure when.

And fistfighting onstage after twenty minute sets...

They were nearly lynched the first they played in Detroit.

Funny thing... Saw 'em play a small club gig in Detroit when "Psychcandy" came out. Twenty-minute set - tops - a monotonous roar of mammoth unarticulated reverberations, like a beast that had been tossed into a sawdust pit to fight for its life then amplified through a fast-food restaurant drive-through speaker in a wind tunnel, neither of the brothers Reid bothering to turn and face the audience much except for an occasional turn at the mic.
A few years later - when "Darklands" was released - they show up at St. Andrew's Hall (much bigger venue) with a drum machine. Scoff if you will, but it was unbelievable. Those guys can write a song, even if they "borrow" a little bit here and there.
