What's 777?
Down the road about eleven blocks and across the street from the beast?

A number that's about as significant as 666 or 888 or 999. :)

With a scream, as I recall. He had a lot of charm, but no muscle.
Now Playing: My Morning Jacket "Cobra" off the Chocolate and Ice EP. Best song of 2007, IMHO.

Or anything else that happens to pop up from my eclectic music collection! Yay!
I've been downloading a buttload of bootlegs from a site called QualityBootz.
Found an OUTSTANDING Stones gig from 1973 whose sound quality is just as good as Get Yer Ya Ya's Out. There's good bootlegged recording to be found at that site.

The hum of the flourescent light above me...it's got a nice beat, but I can't dance to it.

Yesterday I listened to a lot of Antony and the Johnsons...rainy day...
Also, I listened to that Dirty Projectors disc everyone was raving about a couple months back...what the was the big deal? I thought the disc was blah.

Any day is a good Nick Cave day, in my book.

Ok, people, you need to know that Jackie thinks just about everything to which I listen is depressing. She says Eno's Music for Airports is depressing. Mellow, yes...laid-back, yes...ambient, of course...but not, in my eyes/ears...depressing...

What do you think?

2.Straight through my heart by Backstreet Boys
3.Love Show by Sonohra
4. Mujeres in the club by Wisin Y Yandel featuring 50 cent
5. Ven a bailar from Isa TKM.
My playlist is bilingual. LOL!

But it's not like you listen to much upbeat pop, you know.

Good lord, RA! We must be on an Eno kick, because I've been listening to Another Green World non-stop today.
And, no, Music For Airports is not depressing. I find it to be excellent reading-and-relaxing music.

I was listening to Phillip Glass through my headphones in this coffee shop, just after dusk, but the cacophony in my head was too much so I switched to Postal Service.

Glass' Music in 12 Parts unnerved the hell out of me, for some reason.
Jackie would be wise to listen to Eno's Here Come The Warm Jets for a more aggressive side of the man. Robert Fripp's solo on Baby's on Fire is one of the most breathtaking, shattering and spine-tingling solos you'll ever here; you swear you can see Fripp's amplifier melting during that solo, as Eno cheers him on for the sake of art.

Gus, yes, that one would be better for Jackie, I agree. Unfortunately, I sent her Sigur Ros' "()" instead, which will probably lead to tears before track three....
RA, are you trying to kill Jackie? I love me some Sigur Ros, but I would never recommend them to a friend. Ever.

Go Donny! :)
