when i first read twilight, i thought it was ok, but then again, i was doped up all the time. but after it got really popular, i realized how stupid all of it was and i guess not ALL of my brain cells are fried. lol

I really despise the word, even. I think I even managed to turn some twins against it. Lucky me, I guess... When I mentioned the site with all of the brutal attackings on those that don't like it, the resident goth, ironically named Sunshine, said that the craziest thing she heard was someone changing their name to Bella, or naming their children after the characters.
This reminds me of that time online when someone asked what we thought about their "Baby Name" list. I went and read it, and to my SURPRISE, they were all Twilight character names. No Edward, apparently.
Anyways, looking over the posts about reasons for hating it, I've come down with my set 3 reasons for hating it.
1 - Everyone who likes it, always refers to it. E.g. "OMG, what just happened is like in Twilight when Jasper..." or "OMG! This song is totally like Twilight!"
2 - I tried reading no. 1, and I found it so boring, I died, THEN was resurrected and died again. I've added your points of shallow characters and repetitive adjectives to my list, but Ididn't even get that far to see it. Friend did claim it got better.
3 - The forum with the crazy lovers, and the violent attacks, and the acid to the face with the compass in the hand.
