January nominations are now open! Choose one of your own books or find inspiration from the group's bookshelf.

- Books must be nonfiction, within our general theme.
- Nominations are open until 10th of December.
- Please add suggestions using add book/author.
- All recommendations will be featured in a subsequent poll. Should have results for 17th or so.
- Feel free to pitch, especially in the comments at the poll.

Certainly wouldn't mind having some more suggestions! I might keep the nominations open somewhat longer than the 10th.

As the poll went ahead just about on schedule, (beginning the 12th and ending the 18th) and selected Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed, I suggest these suggestions be carried to nominations for February, which will be up momentarily.

Conor | 56 comments I didn't see the poll at all, can it be posted in the nominations thread as it doesn't appear in group feed please?

So am I. Thanks yourself for being active, pretty much what keeps the administrative stuff worth doing.

I'll make sure that happens from now on. I will also consider sending out a broadcast message when the poll goes live.
