Brooke sobbed violently. Sparrow had been her best friend her whole life. She dropped to her knees, violent tears streaming down her cheeks.

Asher pressed his lips to her head "I know" he said softly
Asher lifted her chin and wiped away her tears "This will never happen again" he said with a certain finality. His eyes shone with unshed tears that he blinked away quickly
She nodded shakily, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm so scared."
Danny hugged Brooke. "Well all be okay"
Brooke screamed for her best friend.
Asher kissed her cheek gently "So am I" he said quietly
Danny stood up. He sighed "does anyone want to go check on Lincoln with me?"
((I just realized this group has 1500 posts already. Hehe))
Lincoln layed unconscious in his hospital bed looking weak. Doctors injected him with different serums but they looked worried. The main doctor told a nurse to go get the other agents. The nurse left. She went into the room they were all in and tapped Asher on the shoulder
Asher snapped his head around "What?" he growled
"The doctor would like to see you in room B122." Then the nurse left
Asher winced and rushed over to room B122 hurriedly, throwing open the door
Lincoln was on the bed in the room. The doctor looked at asher. "Mr Lee has a very serious infection. We have tried to cure it with medicine but nothing is working. If we don't do anything he will keep getting worse until he dies. The only option we have left is to amputate his arm, and with today's technology he will be able to get a mechanical arm, but we need permission from someone. Because Mr Lee has no known remaining family we need permission from all of you, his most well known friends." The doctor paused
Asher bit back a sharp retort. He had to accept the truth. If he couldn't have saved Sparrow, the least he could do now was save Lincoln "Do it" he growled, unable to keep his eyes of Lincoln's almost unmoving form
Danny nodded. "I'm with Asher. And I can't be leader now"
Danny sat next to Asher. "Don't worry about me. I'm fine"
((A few days later? So lincoln is better?))
The doctor came to Asher. "Agent Lee is awake. He is doing well. You can go see him.
Asher snapped out of bed, bursting into the room "Sparrow is dead" he hissed
Lincoln's jaw dropped. His eyes filled with tears. There was a person working on his mechanical arm. "Where's Danny?" Danny came in behind Asher. "I'm-im so sorry"
Lincoln gave Danny a hug with his good arm. "If you need help with anything just ask me" lincoln tried not to cry
Asher's eyes were stone hard as he walked back out, without a word. He didn't want to talk right now anyways
"Asher?" Lincoln called to him. "Asher, tell everyone else that I'll be back at work tomorrow. We... We need to have a meeting" Danny sat down in a chair next to lincoln
Asher growled something in response as he walked out his face grave

Asher walked back out to the underground hideout, loading the several guns he had strapped to his belt

Danny fell asleep. The engineer finished Lincoln's new arm. ((It looks like the Winter Soldier's arm.))
((Super Bowl. Broncos are a football team))

Lincoln tried out his new arm the next day. It worked well. The doctor released him. Danny pushed lincoln out of the hospital because his leg was still broken. Danny drove lincoln back to MCA
Danny pushed lincoln into the MCA headquarters. There was a happy, colorful banner hung across the hall saying "Welcome Back Lincoln!" But lincoln didn't feel happy at all. He sat at his desk and turned on the microphone. Danny stood behind him. "There will be a meeting for everyone with level 4 clearance and up in the cafeteria in 30 minutes" lincoln turned the mic off and sighed. He closed his eyes and tried to clear his thoughts.
Asher looked up from his desk, sighing as he raked a hand through his hair. He stood and walked over to the cafeteria.
Asher folded his hands on his lap impatiently
Lincoln tapped the microphone "hello. Testing-testing" everyone was in the room now. Lincoln sighed "as most of you already know Agent Sparrow is dead. the series of attacks in the past two months has taken many lives from us so I have decided to issue Protocol 21. This means that special trainers will start coming in teaching us all how to fight even better that before. We will then attack the rouge mutants with all out might and defeat them once and for all!!"
