((We´ll see >:D How about some hellhounds next?))Nico was last in their group. He was used to be the outsider, so it didn´t really matter to him that Jake didn´t accept him. But he was worried about his relation to Sid. He realized that the real problem on this quest may not be the monsters.
((Yes))Sid took the directions Nico told him. He heard Nicos thoughts, he didnt want to say anything. He felt bad for what he did, it wasnt right. He also worried about jake. This wasnt his best first quest.
((Me too. I'm every where. >:)))
Sid walks and notices it gets darker. He sits on a log. "We need to rest."
((On))Jake just laid down in the grass.
((On.))Nico sat down on the edge of the log, right in the shadow of a big oak tree. It seemed like he had disappeared.
Sid looks at the other boys. He was nervous of what was ahead in their journey. All he heard were three howls.
"That didn´t sound like normal dogs. Perhaps some kind of wolf protecting the entrance to the underworld. It´s no wonder that dad put some guards there after Percy got through there..." He got lost in his thoughts for a few seconds. He should stop thinking about Percy, he thought. "I´m getting hungry."
Jake pulled out 3 bags of beef jerky. He through one at both of them.
Nico caught it, but he didn´t say thanks. He just opened the bag and started eating, a grumpy look on his face. He thought that Beef Jerky was disgusting, but he was too hungry to refuse.
Sid devoured the jerky "Tell me about percy?"
Nico hated this ability of Sid. "I don´t want to talk about it. It´s...ancient history!"
"Oh." Sid said guessing it was painful to talk about
Nico didn´t want to tell Sid about Percy. It was painful to talk about. ((xD)) They ate in silence, the howling of whatever-it-was in the background.
Sid stood up "I wanna go for a swim." He felt a strange presents. Then he heard thoughts of KILL KILL KILL
"Where do you want to swim here? And we don´t even have our bathing clo..." Nico was interrupted by the howling. It suddenly sounded like it was very close to them. How could these animals travel that fast?! Then a thought came to Nico´s mind: Hellhounds, the guardians of Hades.
Sid nods "I find some water." He ventured to the woods. A few minutes later he hears hiffing. He turns slowly. He see's a three headed dog. The dog tackled him. "HELP!" He screamed
Jake had fallen asleep.
((Man, you made him three-headed!))Nico drew his sword, just a second after he woke Jake up. He wondered how he could fell asleep with that noise around him. Nico attacked the huge dog.
Sid scrambled but a head bit him "Crap." He grabbed a branch "I have an Idea."
Nico climbed right behind him. Then he remembered that Jake was still asleep. He jumped back down. "Idea? What an idea? We could use some ideas right now!"
"Pitch them to me, ill hide then BAM they are out of here." Sid said his wound festering
"But...how? I first have to get Jake!" ((Seriously I have no idea what you´re talking about. Got a disadvantage with English as second, not first language. I have to go to bed, anyway. It´s laaaaaateeee...))
Jake continued to sleep. ((XD))
Nico finally arrived where Jake was sleeping. He grabbed him and shadow-travelled up the tree, one bough at a time. He got very tired. Maybe he should just sleep with Jake...
Sid flung the branch knocking the hound away
Jake moved a little but not much.
Sid fell back as the wound started to poison him
Nico finally found his consciousness. He grabbed his sword and attacked the hellhound that just hurt Sid. Not without yelling at Jake, of course.
((XD))Jake almost fell out of the tree.
((Better not do that again :D))Nico was not overly concerned about Jake. ((:P)) He first had to save Sid. He sliced the huge dog in pieces. At least he tried. The sword just bounced off. Now he was concerned.
Sid was on the ground spasming. He saw a orange liquid slide from his bag "Nico-" but the hellhound toward him."Your mine now." It bit Sids ankle and dragged him away
That made Nico very concerned. He needed to kill this hellhound. As fast as possible. "Sid!", he screamed. Then the second underworld dog appeared. It stood right in front of him and he couldn´t see Sid. He remembered that those were his dad´s pets. On the top of his voice, he yelled "GET AWAY!" The hellhound in front of him ran away, towards the middle of the Central Park. Sid had disappeared.
Jake finally woke up and looked around and yelled at Nico, "What am I doing up here!?"
Nico looked at Jake, almost crying. "Th...There were hellhounds. They took Sid."
Will looked at Noco angry. Something in him finally snapped. "That's it! I'm going after him! I've had enough of my grandfather taking my friends!" He said as he jumped down and walked towards the forest with his sword drawn.
Noco ((:D)) ran after him. "It won´t work like that!", he said. "They have probably already arrived in the underworld."
Sid was dragged unconsiously he woke up in a subway tunnel. He grabbed a blade from his back and stabbed the hellhound.
"Then I have an excuse to shadow-travel!" He yelled at NICO. He ran into a shadow thinking of Sid. He popped up in a subway station seeing the hellhounds. He charged at the other one.
Sid saw Jake screaming and charging at him
When he brought down his sword on the hellhound he extended a hand and said, "Need some help there?" He was smiling.
