Love Joey Hill! I'm still reading this one but I'm loving it! Her writing is just amazing and not to mention she writes great sexy time :-)

I am still working on this (at about 80% right now) but I swear, this woman can do no wrong in my eyes. The more of her stuff I read, the more I fall in love with her writing. I love that her characters deal with real issues. And I love that they work a lot of it out through sex/BDSM because, as much as it is difficult for those of us who are on the outside looking in to understand, this is their way of letting go/learning to trust one another to 'catch you when you fall' so to speak. I love that Dale and Athena both have 'been there, done that' so they are able to forego the BS of early romance stages and just move onto the being there for each other stage. Their connection is beautiful. I need to stop highlighting the damn book and finish reading this.

Hey Ladies! Couldn't read last night due to an impromptu date with the BF. (We went to the movies and saw Gravity... great flick but I was desperate to get back to my book!!) Now at 50%. I admit the pacing has been a bit slow in parts and the descriptions and inner monologues a little too long at times, but really that's just me nit picking. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dale and just how real he appears. He's such an amazing Dom, sexy as hell in that rugged, masculine and completely self confident way. He's such a man's man... UGH... love him. I'm biting my nails fearing for Athena's heart!
I couldn't stand it...I caved...y'all keep talking about Ben. So I'm blaming y'all. I bought Hostile Takeover. I'll go back and start at the beginning after I meet this Ben guy...so now I'm 3% in. So someone remind me to feed the kids later...
Just finished and wow hooked on this author will be purchasing more books by her :D

you totally said it all... that was what was so impressive for me in this book.. she dealt with people who had led lives and - who weren't 20 but grown ups and who needed what each other had for them... The layering of all the needs and issues to work out for Both of them was so right on.

figure out your days... because if you are a real fan of Hill... you will not want to do anything else... it really was an all encompassing book, i think... on so many levels like Irene talked about and the best- these people are not baby adults... they are fully formed.

Holy hell...I'm seriously considering bypassing the 29 million books I have waiting to be read on my kindle and having a Joey Hill reading marathon! Good Lord have mercy this book was hawt!!!
