"Um...." Reece looked around uncomfortably and then back at her face. "I just....", he frowned, "I guess I just waated to know. Haven't seen your kind around for a while...especially in places like colleges and cities, and such you know. YOu guys....usually don't reside in cities, rite?" he asked, his eyebrows jerked up.

Rachel nodded and as they reached the library, she took out her card. They entered and walking to the music section, began looking at a few books. "We need....", she mused, "the history of music. All kinds of music, actually. You knwo of some book?"

Kylie finally took a step back, needing her personal space desperately. "That depends. It's usually the angel's choice." She said quietly as she looked down at the concrete. She wasn't used to socializing. Much less with demons.

Keegan nodded and pulled a few books from the shelves. "These would probably be your best sources." He said as he looked up at her, a sweet smile on his face. He really wanted to impress her now, but he couldn't quite do that without showing off his powers.

"Oh", he said, thought the answer seemed inadequate. He had noticed her taking a step back, and that kind of amused him. "Do I scare you?" he asked, a smiled playing around his lips, though his eyes showed softness and concern.

She took the books and went and sat on a nearby table. She looked through the books, passing few to him. She removed her notebook, and jotted down few things. "We basically need the history. No need to get into detail. But we write aboiut everything in detail", she said clarifying things.

Kylie bit her lip and kept her eyes down, "A little." She admitted quietly. "But not completely." She said and looked shyly back up at him. Her eyes searched his own for any sign of a threat, but she found nothing, relaxing a bit more.

Keegan nodded, grabbing his own journal out of his bag and writing down a few things as well. He got a little carried away with watching her write, finding that she looked cute when she focused. Gods, this girl was taking over his mind.

Reece nodded and looked away from her gaze, being aware that it had an electric effect on him. "We'll be late for class", he said abruptly, and began walking, making sure she followed. He had noticed that they both had Trigonometry as their first period. They began walking towards their class. "You're new in this area?" he asked her.

Rachel was busy writing and then suddenly, to refer something, she looked up and caught him looking at her. Her eyes met hers for a moment but then, she shied away. She looked into her book again but she was aware of a warm glow on her cheeks. She just hoped he couldn't see it.

Kylie had the same electric effect when their eyes locked, but she walked next to him with her eyes ahead. "Yeah, I moved in just last month." She said and looked around, feeling the breeze blow her hair back gently and she closed her eyes, enjoying it as she walked.

Keegan blushed a bit himself, quickly averting his gaze. "So..." He murmured awkwardly, trying not to make a big deal about how she'd caught him staring at her. She was honestly beautiful, he just didn't want to say it out loud.

"Oh", Reece said, looking at her, hardly paying attention to what she said, his eyes captured by her blowing hair and her beautiful face. He wanted to lean forward and touch her face, to see whether it was soft, or tough, like his. They reached the class, and went and sat in the back bench, together.

Rachel blushed and looked down, knowing very well he was staring. She warned herself not to get into such things again, after what happened with Mike, but she realized that it would be difficult controlling her feelings around Keegan. He was naturally good, and a very beautiful face, she suddenly noticed. She looked up at him, and looked into his eyes.

Kylie took a deep breath as she opened her eyes again, finding his gaze on her. Biting her lip awkwardly, she looked back down at the ground when they walked. Once they go to class, she sat down next to him in the back, her arms folded on the desk as she looked over at him through observant eyes.

Keegan returned her gaze, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Though he knew they wouldn't ever be together like he'd wanted just that moment. "Um.." He managed. The last girl he'd gone out with had barely escaped with major burns. He'd made her promise not to tell anybody.

Reece could feel her eyes upon him and tried to fight the urge to look at her. She was mysterious, unknown territory, someone he would never be allowed to be with. Looking away from her was almost painful. He returned her gaze, and just then, the teacher called the class to attention. He looked away, relieved to be free from the intensity of her gaze.

"Yeah..", Rachel whispered out, and smiled too, which soon turned to giggles. She was attracted to him, but she also found him a little strange, as if he was not what he seemed to be, as if he was something else and was hiding something.

Kylie licked her lips thoughtfully before looking back up at the teacher. She listened to the words intently, writing down some notes in her journal. The entirety of the time, she'd had Reece on her mind. It was unintentional, but she couldn't stop thinking about the demon.

Keegan chuckled, looking down at his hands, for once shy in his life. The boy had always been talkative, but he;d seemed to have a big crush on the girl now. It only made it harder for him, since he didn't want to hurt her.

As the bell rang, Reece got up, waiting for her. They walked to their next class, Biology, together. "So....do you like Trig?" he asked, trying to sound casual and have some normal conversation with the girl he was so attracted to.

She looked down at the books, aware of his gaze on her. She was also acutely aware of the warm flush on her cheek. She cleared her throat, and asked, "So, did you find something?"

Kylie smiled softly, getting up and gathering her things quickly. "Yeah, it seems okay. Not my favorite class, but it's nice." She said with a shrug, glad that they could talk to each other like things were normal.

Keegan bit his lip, blushing lightly himself. "Oh.. No, sorry..." He murmured and immediately snapped his gaze back to the book in front of him. That was awkward... He thought, thinking he needed to stop looking at her.

"Even I'm not much of a fan of Trig", he admitted. He hated Maths, couldn't seem to understand it. They walked into Bio, and sat together again. Just when he was sitting down, his hand lightly, and unintentionally, brushed her arm. Something passed between them, like electricity, and he took away his arm quickly.

"Don't be sorry....", she said softly, and touched his arm lightly. She bent down on her work, though she couldn't seem to concentrate.

Kylie bit her lip when the strange current swirled around under her skin in the place his hand had touched her. She looked over at him, an eyebrow raised. "Did you feel that too?" She asked, hoping she didn't just imagine it.

Keegan smiled, but he couldn't concentrate either. All he could think of was her, she was so perfect.

"yes...", he said a little unsteadily. His voice shook, and he whispered, "It was like electricity, right?" His hand itched to touch her again, but he controlled himself. He wasn't sure why he felt so attracted to her, he just knew that it was wrong.

((For Reece and Kylie's story, maybe we could skip to something like they have some assignment together, and during that, they keep on getting to knwo each other.

For Keegan and Rachel, we could do something like, Rachel goes to the woods alone, and suddenly a vampire or some supernatural specie wants to hurt her, and Keegan jumps in and saves her. What say??))

Kylie sat in her last class of the day, which she shared with Reece. They'd been partnere4d up for a project assigned to the class, and she smiled softly at him. All they'd been talking about the entire time was each other. "So do you have any pets?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly as she spoke.

Keegan closed the door to the music shop, locking it and slinging his bag over his shoulder. It was about 6:00 PM now, and he was closing up the shop for the day. He'd usually take the shortcut to his apartment, which just so happened to be through the woods.

[A]

"No...animals don't tend to be very close to us. I've tried keeping a dog, but it just didn't work out", he said and shrugged. "What about you?" he asked. By this time, he was totally enchanted by her beauty and words, and never wanted to stop talking to her, with her.

Rachel had her telescope in her hands. She wanted to look at the stars that night, and she thought about trying out the woods. She walked through the woods, and choosing a spot, set down her telescope and looked up at the dark sky.

Kylie smiled at his answer, "I have a cat named Cheshire in my apartment." She murmured and smiled at the thought of the kitty waiting patiently for her to get home. "How about pastimes? What do you like to do in your free time?" She asked.

Keegan started the long walk through the woods, having no idea that she was there. It was already dark by now, and he had to blink his eyes a few times to adjust to the lighting before continuing into the darkness. The boy wasn't easily scared.

"Play video games!" he exclaimed. He was a huge addict, and he couldn't imagine anything better than games and games and, more games. "And you?" he asked, and almost hesitantly, "you seem like...."

Rachel looked through the telescope, excited to view some stars. She was unaware of the rustling behind her back. Suddenly, a hand tapped her shoulder. She shrieked lightly and turned around to face the vampire standing in her way.

Kylie raised an eyebrow at his comment before answering. "I seem like what?" She asked curiously. She was often getting into trouble for being too curious, going places she shouldn't and doing things like that as well. It wasn't her fault, she didn't know.

Keegan heard a scream coming from nearby, quickly running in that direction. He'd recognized the voice, or it was just something in him that clicked. He ran into the clearing with his eyes wild. When he saw the vampire glaring down at Rachel, his arms lit ablaze and he tackled the creature.

"You seem like....", he said, his voice husky, "the quiet type. Soft, gentle, good", he said. "You wouldn't do something bad", he said thoughtfully, even though that was not relevant of the topic they were discussing.

"Um...yeah?" Rachel said. Rachel noticed that this human was a little different. His skin, his eyes, the way he bared his teeth at her, she could sense that he was dangerous. And, just as she was going to run for her, she saw Keegan running forward and fighting the strange human.

Kylie blushed lightly at his words, "I might be, but only because I get myself into bad situations." She smiled and looked down at the floor before taking a sudden risk of boldness. "You seem like... A boy who's tough on the outside, gets into bad things, but he's actually really sweet on the inside." She murmured quietly before looking back up at him shyly.

Keegan heard the thing hiss before he sent flames to his face and watched as it screamed before letting out a dying screech. He let out a puff of air, putting out the flames on his arms before looking up at Rachel. He knew she'd seen his arms on fire, and it didn't hurt him. "Are you afraid?"

"Uhmm....", he cleared his throat. Nobody had said that to him before, straight like that, and he was thankful that Kylie was the one who would get to know him so well and that too in such less time. "I guess so....But don't think I'm good. You shouldn't - I'm a demon, remember?" he asked, a little dazed by the shyness on her face. She looked beautiful in every way.

rachel backed away from him. "What the hell just happened?" she asked, her voice shaking. "Did I...did I just see fire on your arms?" She fell on the ground, her legs not able to take her weight.

Kylie looked into his eyes bashfully, "I know you're a demon, but you can't keep me from thinking you have some good in you." She said sweetly and admired him silently. He was so handsome, and she loved how thoughtful he was.

Keegan winced at her words, immediately rushing to her side. "Yeah, you did. There's something I need to tell you. I'm obviously not human... I'm an Elemental. Please don't be scared of me.." He murmured softly.

[A]

"Do I?" he asked mysteriously. He thought of himself as evil, dark and bad. He couldn't believe that an angel would think otherwise. All his life he had believed that he had no good, he could not do any good. Ths girl was making him think otherwise. He had not hoped that he would be called good, especially from an angel.

"Stay away from me!" she shrieked and strted weeping. She couldn't believe what she had just witnessed, wanted to remove it from her mind.

Kylie smiled, "You do." She said like it was a fact. The boy had only been sweet to her the entire day, she was convinced he wasn't bad. At least, not around her.

Keegan ignored her protest and wrapped his strong arms around her, refusing to let go. He was stronger than her anyways, and she couldn't get him away no matter how hard she tried. "It's okay..." He murmured softly.

He raised his head as she said those words, and felt his eyes traveling to her lips, and the beautiful smile upon them. No, his mind urged, but he couldn't look away. The bell rang at last, and they began walking together. They walked out of the college, and Reece asked, "Where do you live?"

"It's not....", she said, her voice breaking. "I trusted you...and you turn out to be some....I dunno, strange guy who can have fire in his arms", she said, sobbing hard. She had had the fright of her life.

Kylie hadn't noticed him looking at her lips, only that she'd been doing the same with him. The bell seemed to break her out of the trance she was in, and she got up to walk with him. "Just two blocks down, why?" She asked and looked over at him.

Keegan kept her in his arms, "I know, I was just scared you would treat me differently because of it... I would never hurt you." He murmured sadly, rubbing her back in an attempt to soothe her.

Reece shrugged, "Just wanted to know whether I could drop you home or not and whether your house fell in my way. Well, not that that would stop me from leaving you home....", he trailed off and after a second, his eyebrows jerked up, "That didn't make any sense, right?" he asked and chuckled softly.

"What are you...? How can you have fire in your arms?" she said and tried to stop weeping. "And who was that guy? He didn;t seem human...he was so....scary", she shuddered.

Kylie raised her own eyebrows, "Not at all, feel free to elaborate." She said with an amused smile. The boy was quite charming, she found herself easily growing fond of him without really acknowledging it. It was as if she didn't care that he was a demon, but let herself be comfortable around him anyways.

Keegan kept his arms around her, rocking them back and forth gently. "I'm an Elemental. I can control fire and wind. I just didn't want you to be afraid of me... And that guy was a vampire. I know it's hard to believe, but everything you thought was just a myth- is real."

[A]

"Uhm......", he said and shook his head rather nervously. This girl was making him go crazy, he suddenly realized. He never felt nervous around anyone, never, yet, this girl was making him think twice before saying anything, making him want to please her, and most surprisingly, making him want to smile. He hardly ever smiled, that was a demon's life, but he felt himself becoming happy. "That's your house, I think", he said pointing to a huge house, sensing angel presence in it.

"Elemental?? Such people exist??" she gasped. She had read about them in few historical books, but never in her life had she imagined they could be true. She shuddered again and hid her face in his shoulder blade.

Kylie raised an eyebrow at him but grinned, "How'd you know?" She asked, walking up to the door and unlocking it with her key. She walked inside, inviting him after her as her dog laid asleep on the couch. He was a big Siberian Husky named Pike, and she loved him to bits. What made her curious was how he'd known she lived here.

Keegan bit his lip as he held her gently, "Yes, everything exists. Except unicorns, zombies, and mermaids. Those are all fake." He said as h rubbed her back gently. He was scared that she' hate him, but tried his best to comfort her.

"I could smell the presence of angels", he said simply. "The aura of this house....it's different. Inhuman", he said, following her to the doorstep but not entering. "I'm a demon. I don't think I can come into your house", he said.

"Oh.....", she said and suddenly fainted in his arms.

Kylie frowned, "I kind've haven't charmed mine yet... I just moved here, so it's not protected from demons yet, I still have to do that. But now that I think about it, they're not so bad, you can come inside, don't worry." She said with a sweet smile as she sat down next to Pike, scratching his neck.

Keegan frowned but picked her up before carrying her off to his place. He had an apartment by himself, and it was pretty nice. Laying her down in his bed, he wrapped her up in the blankets so that she was comfortable before sitting down with his own blanket in a chair next to the bed. He couldn't just leave her there.

"And your family won't mind? Do you live here all alone?" he asked, still not entering. He wasn't scared of demon charms whch angels use in their houses, he was scared of being in such close proximity with her, wondering what effect it would ahve on him.

Kylie bit her lip, "Yeah, my dad died years ago and my mom is erm... Up there." She murmured, pointing up to the sky. She hoped he would come into the house with her. "Don't be afraid... I don't think anything will happen."

"Um....", he gulped, "okay", he said and entered suddenly, coming up close to her. Their bodies were almost touching and he could hear his breath, heavy. He bit his lip and said in a low voice, "You won't ask me to come inside?"

Rachel opened her eyes to unfamiliar walls and ceilings and an immediate frown came upon her brows. "Where am I?" her voice croaked and then she noticed Keegan sitting beside her.
