Out of reflex, Dakota grabbed onto Not and fell on top of her. "Umph!" He was about to say something else, but he was interrupted by a loud squawk that could only be... Flappy!"OH MY GRACIOUS! THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!" Celeste squealed out as a bird attacked her beautiful dress. This indignity of it all! "Eww! It's a biiiirrrrddd!! Eeeiiikk!" she screeched, "I didn't think the Hunger Games started until we got in the arena! Peacekeepers, mentor, someone!" she yelled. The bird just cocked his head and looked at her. When it let out a squawk and swooped in on her head, she screamed and fell over. That was the last thing she remembered before her mentor shook her shoulder. It was absolutely mortifying.
"You passed out." Adam said, amusement dancing in his eyes.

The commotion continued as Lence moved her way to the nearest wall, as far away from the confused tributes knotted together as possible.

Lence suddenly burst out laughing; she had always been forced to watch the Games, but she'd just realized that she'd never seen what the tributes did before the chariot ride.
Areon rushed in. He was mad that lots of others were already there. He wanted time to meet the tributes, even if he was only twelve and no one would want to team up with him. His stylist had put him in a light blue suit with the sleeves glowing slightly. Areon had no idea how his stylist did it but it didn't matter.

((Very good point, Sora, very good point.))"You are welcome!" Lence replied brightly. She had never been told when she was younger to "come out of her shell a little", as it had never seemed she'd had one at all, what with her loud voice and extrovert nature. ;)
Dakota's nose gushed out blood. This was the fourth time tonight that he had been punched in the face - an all time low! He was off to a good start. He ran into a lady with drinks and sent her a wink before taking two of the glasses for himself. He downed both and walked towards the girl from his district and Not drunkenly.
Areon glanced around and saw someone with a bloody nose. He hoped another tribute hadn't done that. They would get in a LOT of trouble. But, it's not like it would do any harm. They're most likely going to die anyway.
Dakota saw a boy and decided that he needed to change his course. He walked over to the kid and slung an arm around his shoulder and said, "Hey, kid, let me teach you about life." Dakota started laughing. He wasn't sure what was so funny about the whole situation, but it just was... Or maybe those drinks were finally working.
"Life?" Areon said, confused. What more was there to know about life? Everything was the same unless it was different in other districts.
"Yes, son, you have much to learn." Dakota said gravely. "First and foremost is Kool-Aid. Sonny, when you get banned from something, you find something even better." Dakota started.
Areon stared at him, confused. How could his competition he so.... weird? No, weird didn't even begin to describe it.
Dakota let the kid watch on in wonder. These valuable and enriching life lessons were a lot to take in at once. "Second of all, we are all going to die! Cheers!" Dakota said and flagged down another lady with the drinks.
Areon sighed. "Thanks for reminding me." He muttered.
"Kid, lighten up! Celebrate a life wasted for bloody viewing pleasure!" It was a touchy subject for Dakota. "I say we blow the whole place up. Boom! You in?"
This made Areon smile a little. "Deal." He agreed in a joking tone. It was obvious he wasn't being serious despite the serious look on his face.
"That guy looks like he has a spare bomb. What do you think?" Dakota asked, pointing to a D2 guy that had punched him a few times before. He was pretty cool.
AJ strolled around the area examining her competition tributes. None looked even remotely threatening, but she could tell they were trying their best. She was still sucking on a chicken bone from the meal she had been fed before her stylist had primped her. The prep team had gotten an earful from her and almost lost their fingers trying to do her hair. When she saw how she had looked she was furious. She looked more attractive than fierce.

"Oh yeah, that guy reeks the 'I'm-carrying-a-spare-bomb-and/or-other-lethal-weapons-on-me-at-all-times.'" Dakota said seriously. "So, what do you want to blow up first?"Devon was leaning against the wall, and he smirked when he saw the self pronounced 'girl' walk in. He put his hand in his jacket pocket and wrapped his fingers around his spare bomb.
Areon was supposed by the seriousness in his voice. "I don't know." He shrugged. Who cares if they were being watched? They were all gonna die anyway.
AJ tucked the bone away once she felt the point poking her tongue. She stood crossing her arms as she leaned against the D2 chariot.
"Well, as fun as this little escapade will be, it is fun that I am definitely way to sober for." Dakota said drunkenly as he whistled at a nearby waitress. "Ha! I wondered if drinking Kool-Aid is considered being drunk!" he exclaimed with a slight slur. Thank goodness he couldn't actually get his hands on anything alcoholic.
((Za-za! You're on! Awesome:))"I don't know. Maybe, I mean it sounds like it." Aaron said, hoping he didn't offend him.
Reeve wat hes the other tributes around her. The bunched fabric in her hands, she continues to squeeze. She isn't excited about her costume but figures it fits the impression her stupid mentor wanted her to have.

Dakota looked at the boy and raised his glass towards him. "Touché." he said and took a sip. One person bumped into him and caused his drink to spill down his shirt - well, actually, scratch that. Dakota wasn't wearing a shirt. "What the he- hey! It's a rainbow!" he exclaimed, pointing to a glass shard. The sugar was getting to him. Dakota shrugged out of the vest - thing - that hadn't been covering much in the first place. He threw his arm around the boy's shoulders again, hoping the lighting was dark enough to conceal the scars that lined his back.
Areon saw a small discolored spot on his back. It almost looked like scars. He didn't want to say anything though.
Dakota saw the kid looking at him. Whatever. Let the people stare whether it be scars or not. He knew he was too hot for his own good. I mean, just look at Not. She was falling all over him. (( ;) ))
Areon looked away; he didn't want to be rude. How did he get those scars?
"So, kid, what's first on the agenda? Show and tell or blow everything up? I prefer the latter - you?"
"I, believe it or not, would prefer to not blow everything up." Areon told him.
