Hello! my first time posting. I read a book when I was younger, probably around 1995. All I can remember for certain about the book is the main guy was having a dialogue with himself about his girlfriend, who looked so perfect you would have never known she used to be a man. I think the main guy was a detective. I don't even know if it was a futuristic book. I was young, why I was reading this I don't know, but I would like to find it and read it.
