Mockingjay
question
if Gale did kill Prim, what page does Katniss figure out it was him?
There's not an exact page number that she figures it out. I don't think anyway.
But she knew that the parachute bombs were his idea and that he used them when Prim was killed.
He did not do it on purpose, but Katniss would never know if the bombs that he sent were the ones that killed her.
I haven't read the books in quite a while, but I believe there's something in the epilogue about that.
Gale was willing to sacrifice some people for "the greater good". He just didn't realize who exactly he would be sacrificing or what it would mean to him.
Kind of ironic actually.

Gale did not kill Prim intentionally. I forget the rest, but that is what I know.
She talks to Gale about the bomb on page 366 and 367. But no one knows who set them off and if it even was the bomb that Gale and Beetee created. Gale says "That's the one thing I had going for me. Taking care of your family." Gale did not kill Prim.
